About this studio

We offer group classes to get you moving, lifting, training, and sweating. Coached by experts; always safe; never exactly the same. TRAIN LIKE JANE, a high-energy, group class for women only and designed for optimal fat loss. Free-weight station rotation, bodyweight exercises, and sled work are all part of this small, but power-packed class. PRIMAL is designed for guys only to boost testosterone, build muscle, and improve overall strength using a variety of traditional and sandbag lifts, bodyweight exercises, and sled/chain work. DYNAMIC25 is a coed class for any fitness level that focuses on your cardiovascular system; working your entire body to burn fat. You'll push the prowler, pull the sled, swing kettle bells, and bat the ropes. 312 643 1464

How to prepare

META Modern Health is a boutique gym that offers a variety of services, treatments, therapies, and more. We welcome fitness enthusiasts of all levels and our team of experts will work alongside you to help you exceed your health and fitness goals. Please arrive 5 minutes before the start of each class to sign-in and meet your coach. We offer towel service, lockers and also sell bottled water for your convenience.

How to get there

Meta Modern Health is located at 925 N. Larrabee, in the River North neighborhood between Chicago Ave and Division St. Free street parking is available in the surrounding area and is plentiful ​during the early mornings, evenings and weekends. We validate parking tickets for the garage at 950 N. Kingsbury St. (2 hours for $5)

Anami was awesome. Very motivating and focused on good form. Gives personal attention so you get the most out of the class. IT WAS NOT EASY, YOU WILL LIFT HEAVY WEIGHTS!!! Definitely sore the next day in all the good ways. Will be back.

Loved it! This is a true strength class, using heavy weights but not intimidating like a CrossFit class for example. Staff was great and facilities are nice and new!

Anami is great, he takes the time to correct your form during the workout and pushes you to take it to the next level. All of the other ladies in the class were super pleasant as well. The weights being used in this class are on the heavier side (benching 50lbs, pushing 100lbs, pulling 150lbs, etc). I found it to be really challenging, and I workout several times a week but with lighter loads...but no pain no gain I guess!!

What is ClassPass?
