Safety & cleanliness
Safety guidelines are provided by Matthew Chu, RMT and were last updated on 8/26/21.
Masks are the best way to mitigate the risk of spread considering the level of close contact between therapist and patient. Masks are mandatory throughout the whole process. Cloth masks suffice but we would recommend using a disposable mask (easier to breathe).
We have a HEPA filter running all day to ensure the air is as clean as possible
All equipment and high touch surfaces are cleaned and sanitized before each patient's arrival. Matthew Chu, RMT is giving 20 minutes between each patient interaction to allow for sanitation and proper clean up. Deep clean steam mopping is completed at the end of each day.
The patient and therapist are the only two allowed in the room at this time.
