Safety & cleanliness
Safety guidelines are provided by Matthew Chu, RMT and were last updated on 10/13/20.
Masks are the best way to mitigate the risk of spread considering the level of close contact between therapist and patient. Masks are mandatory throughout the whole process. Cloth masks suffice but we would recommend using a disposable mask (easier to breathe).
The patient and therapist are the only two allowed in the room at this time.
Limited amenity access
Washrooms are available, but we ask that you try to use one before arrival. Understandably, we understand how massage therapy can increase the need to urinate and disinfect the area after each patient use.
All equipment and high touch surfaces are cleaned and sanitized before each patient's arrival. Matthew Chu, RMT is giving 30 minutes between each patient interaction to allow for sanitation and proper clean up. Deep clean steam mopping is completed at the end of each day.
