About this studio

LOWA are passionate about Olympic Weightlifting and everything it can do for you. This is a friendly studio where you can learn Olympic Weightlifting in a group class environment with an experienced coach. Classes will develop your flexibility, strength, co-ordination, speed and power using the movements and assistance exercises for Snatch and Clean and Jerk. The coaching team will make sure you are well looked after with individual assistance, and help you to get the most out of the session whether you have a high level of experience or you want to try the sport for the first time. Experience with Overhead Squat and Front Squat is required for you to safely attend class - please contact us if you are unsure about these movements. Most of all it's a lot of fun!

How to prepare

You should be familiar with Overhead Squat and Front Squat to safely attend class, please contact us if you're not sure about this. Please arrive 15 minutes early so you can speak with the coach, and they will get you set up for class. Weightlifting shoes or flat shoes are best, please wear clothing that will allow you to move freely.

LOWA is situated inside the Iron Club - you will see the Iron Club sign outside.

What is ClassPass?
