Probably the worst first group class experience Ive had at a studio ever. The space itself is great - clean and industrial chic - but staff couldnt care less about introducing where anything is or explaining proper form, let alone corrections. Looks like a solid neighborhood spot for a solo workout, but this doesnt belong in the same category as other classes on ClassPass at all.

Class was with supposed to be with Julie, but there was a sub. Sub was pretty disorganized, so no reflection at all on the class in general.
Group Training with Jake
This was fine, didnt really get a workout but to be fair I didnt really push myself that hard. 3 stars because at the end of the class, he started doing yoga stretches and he did them all completely wrong, to the point where he was putting peoples joints in danger. He had us do lunges with the knee far over the toes and I was horrified. Please do not teach yoga if you dont know the correct way to do poses.

Poorly organized, hectic and hard to follow. Wasted time between stations and segments of the workout. There were 12 people - which seemed like too many for the space (not enough equipment), not to mention, seemed like too many for the instructor to handle. Luckily I used to be a personal trainer, so I still got a decent workout in. But overall a disappointing group training experience. I expressed my concerns to the group training coordinator (who was partially teaching our class at some point to help the other instructor manage it), and she said there are improvements under way and hopefully Id give it another shot. Well see! Its so convenient, but continues to fall short of expectations.
