Boot Camp with Iri
The instructor wasn’t doing much besides telling us when to start the 30 second workout. Myself and another girl that was new we’re looking for more direction. He was busy chitchatting with the regulars. It could be a good workout and/or a great place to workout if someone takes the time to coach and show they care.
Metabolic Blast with Iri
I did two different classes with two different instructors here, and it seems like Kru is unlike any other gym/studio that I’ve been too. I’m sure it’s excellent for those that it attracts, and may go back if I’m feeling it in the future, but I don’t think it’s for me generally speaking. It’s very low energy but also difficult — not a great combo for me. I’m much happier doing the hard work I want to do when there is an enthusiasm, rhythm, and high energy of some sort. It also seemed a little odd to me in this class that you are the only one doing each activity at a time— 16 different moves will all be happening at once! Doesn’t really make sense to me and can be hard to remember what to do or to be able to use others in the class as a model to follow for form and what not, or even just to foster camaraderie. The teachers do seem very nice and knowledgeable, however, and are attentive to each individual.

20-20-20 with Jonah
The instructor was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, but I barely broke a sweat. It was slower-paced and more strength-focused (there were quite a few breaks so my heart rate never really elevated). Good for beginners to moderate level.

The core workout kicked my butt! It’s the perfect class if you’re on a time constraint but still want a great workout. Will definitely be coming back for more

What is ClassPass?
