About this studio

Jazzercise is the original dance party workout. Blending dance with pilates, yoga, kickboxing and more, one 55-minute session can help you burn up to 800 calories. You'll get long, lean muscles and a mood boost that can't be beat!

How to prepare

Wear comfortable clothing and athletic shoes. They have hand weights and mats, but you may prefer to bring your own.

Jazzercise - Scott Township Fitness Center is located at 1100 Washington Ave Carnegie, PA. They are in the old School House, which is now a professional building. They share a parking lot with Subway and Aldi.

The instructor was energetic and consistent with saying the next step so the routines were pretty easy to pick up and follow along. For someone who is already fairly in shape, Id consider this a moderate intensity workout. The first portion (approx 30 - 40 mins) of the class was geared toward cardio, and then the emphasis was on arms, lower body, and abs. My only critique is that there was some pressure by another employee (not the instructor) to buy a package directly from the studio.

This class was so fun and the instructor Shannon was excellent! She was encouraging and made me feel welcome! Im feeling it today, so I know it was really working my muscles. Full body workout in an hour!

What is ClassPass?
