About this studio

Inhale Pittsburgh is a welcoming space where anyone can enjoy and benefit from a yoga class or a routine and regular practice. Here students experience the kind of intention-based yoga practice that they may take with them off the mat. Inhale's team of teachers continually provides knowledgeable, inspired, and safe yoga instruction and the studio is the kind of environment where people can come to move, heal, and grow. There are two studio locations: Downtown (100 7th Street) & Northside (845 Western Ave.). What Inhale studios offer: all levels of Vinyasa + Restorative, Yin & Meditation classes; yoga workshops on the weekends; teacher trainings; yoga around town; and Birch and Basil, Inhale's experienced massage therapist and energy worker.

How to prepare

What to bring: You! What to wear: What you'd like to practice yoga in, what allows you to move comfortably on your mat. Socks make it slippy. Jeans aren't that forgiving. What Inhale has: yoga mats to rent (Jade or Manduka) for $2 OR $0 if you tag Inhale Pittsburgh on Facebook or Instagram (@inhalepgh); all the yoga props; space to store belongings and a door that locks; changing rooms; a yoga boutique Inhale is not a "hot" or "power" studio. However, depending on the class choice, you may sweat and you can certainly get a workout.

How to get there

Inhale Pittsburgh is located in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh, on 7th Street on the first floor of The Encore. The studio entrance is to the left of the apartment building entrance. Do you hate parking downtown? There's a bridge to cross for that. Seriously, park on the flip side of either the Rachel Carson, The Andy Warhol, or the Roberto Clemente bridges and the walk is worth your sanity. No one likes to circle blocks and pray to parking gods.

Flow with Sydney
Sydneys class is my FAVORITE!!! She is such a talented & creative instructor. I always feel grounded & rejuvenated leaving the studio! THANK YOU!!!
Foundations with Emily
This was a much slower class if youre looking to realign and take it slow. Emily was very thorough, soothing and thoughtful.
Flow with Maggie
Class was packed before a holiday, not much air circulation, and teacher wasnt very inviting, but the class was a good workout probably wouldnt do this one again during the work day
Dynamic Flow with Tiangai
First class with Tiangai and it was really great! She focuses on your breath, which can sometimes get lost when youre moving fast. She keeps a faster pace to the class that really gets your heart moving, but also gives you enough time to comfortable with the positions before speeding up. Great spirit and energy!
Dynamic Flow with Rich
The instructor was very distracting, his phone went off, he seemed like he was rushing us through the class and he just wanted to get it over with.
Flow with Tiangai
Favorite yoga class Ive ever taken!
Peaceful Flow with Tiangai
Absolutely loved Tiangai! Very thoughtful and descriptive in her teaching. I said my hips were sore and she made sure to tailor the class to open my hips. Felt amazing after class. Will definitely be back to her classes soon!
Dynamic Flow with Melissa
the studio is beautiful and the teacher was really nice. The class was probably one of the more challenging yoga classes I've ever taken. It moved really quickly. I'm gonna try out just a regular flow class next time!
Foundations with Emily
I love Emily, she is so positive and encouraging and really lets you move the way your body wants rather than doing exactly as she says.
Peaceful Flow with Janna
One of my favorite classes in one of my favorite spaces. Janna always brings a creative and inspiring flow.
