How to prepare

Please arrive at least 5 minutes before class - unfortunately they can't let anyone in after class starts due to the high impact of their workouts and the level of detailed instruction provided . Classes are all barefoot at Epic -- floors are all padded.

Epic Obstacle Run with Emily
Im usually a fan of epics classes, but I felt like this instructor was a little too hands off for my liking. After explaining the stations she basically went off to do her own thing in front of the computer. As someone new to the exercises I would have appreciated a little more guidance, suggestions for modifications, corrections on what I might have been doing wrong. As it was I feel like I couldve had a heart attack in the middle of the mat and she wouldnt have noticed...

Emily wasnt really dynamic and the class was a bit easy. She also didnt pay enough attention to know when someone at a station was confused or had a question.

Loved this class! So different from a normal class in that its like an obstacle course. A nice change and Emily was good. She kept watching my form and since Im back from an injury she kept making sure I wasnt hurting myself in anyway.
