How to get there

embodyFitness is located on Adams street in Burlington, just over the Lexington line. GPS may send you to Adams Street in Lexington depending on the platform you use. The lexington address is approximately 1 mile (on the same street) from the studio. Conveniently located less than 1/4 mile off Middlesex Turnpike.

This class did not exist and I drove all the way there for nothing.

the instructor was kind and helpful but the room felt cluttered and thrown together. the yoga is good for beginners. It was fine but I just feel there are better options in the area.

The studio has mats if you forget yours, and they were kind enough to let me borrow one. If you can't park in front of the building, there are spots behind (you can't park in front of the neighboring business). The barre was pretty short - tight with five students on it - so the class sizes seem likely to be on the smaller side.

The yoga part was great - very restorative. The ballet bar is very short & we had to crowd in, so it was kind of awkward.

Not as good a stretch as I had hoped, but still felt nice. Studio is small and kind of hard to find, but once inside its fine.

Stretch and Core with Anne
I have mixed feelings about this class. It's a great option if you need a 30min quick stretch (a short workout is better than no workout) and I was surprised that I burned about 160 calories in such a short time with primarily stretching. That all being said, it's really just a stretching class. And the biggest issue I had was that I was the only student in the class and the instructor still often faced away from me to show me the movements rather then checking my form and correcting me. There were times I had to self correct or adjust due to an injury and she wasn't looking and kept talking as if I was doing the exact same thing as her. I may come back if I was strapped for time or if I was bookending the class to another workout.

What is ClassPass?
