About this studio

Yogi Mommy’s owner Daniela, is very passionate about sharing the gift of space with others and helping them to create space within their busy schedules to achieve a healthier and more balanced lives. Before becoming a Kundalini Yoga & Meditation instructor, Daniela worked for 12 years in finance industry and understand how stressful it is. Yogi Mommy offers Kundalini Yoga & Meditation classes in Midtown East close by where she worked for many years. These practices have survived the test of time and continue up to this day a very efficient way to bring space back into people’s lives. The more we practice Kundalini Yoga & Meditation the more space creating space you will create in your life, which allows you to respond instead of react to situations. Try it out & experience it!

Yogi Mommy is located at 235 E 49th Street New York, NY 10017 United States. We share space with CATS of 49th Street, and Pilates Midtown. The studio is a quiet, newly renovated, comfortable space and it is located on the lower level.

Kundalini Yoga & Meditation - All Levels
Lovely teacher and wonderful class if you want an instructional meditation. Only negatives, I didn’t expect to be seated the whole time, so it was not ideal for me after sitting at a desk all day. It’s also a bit hard to find, located in a gym with lots of distractions. Good exercise in focusing on your practice I guess!
Kundalini Yoga & Meditation - All Levels
Finding the studio was a little disorienting. Very few signs indicating where to go within the building, and when I asked the person sitting at the front desk, he got very snippy with me. I realize that he does not work for Yoga Mommy, but it was an unpleasant start. Furthermore, the studio uses fluorescent lighting and it has a very “kids rec room” vibe. Instructor seems passionate but I just don’t think Kundalini is for me. Lots of breath work and chanting.

Hi! Sorry for the lack of signs, they just arrived and we are putting them up today. Kundalini Yoga has a lot of breath and chanting, but every class is different. I understand it is not for everyone, but unless you try you won't know. Thank you for the feedback! Have a great day! Sat Nam!
Kundalini Yoga & Meditation - All Levels
Daniela is a kind, compassionate teacher with a great energy. Involves gentle movement, meditation, chant, breathwork and sometimes she even brings her gong to class ! This class brings me beyond the physical; always feeling like I’ve tapped into something deeper I need to work on.....and keeps me coming back for more. This is definitely the class you didn’t know you needed til you try it!

Daniella is the best. The class is both challenging and relaxing. Time flies by. I felt so reenergized after.
