About this studio

Core Indoor Cycling's mission is to bring you a different kind of indoor cycling experience – rebelling against the norm of traditional stationary bikes. It's a boutique studio (only 16 bikes) featuring RealRyder bikes. RealRyders have an articulating frame allowing the bike to pivot side-to-side creating an unstable surface. Unstable = CORE work ***IF IT'S YOUR FIRST TIME AT CORE - PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES BEFORE CLASS STARTS FOR PROPER SET UP AND INSTRUCTION*** The unstable nature of the bikes requires you not only to engage your CORE to stabilize the bike, but to engage your arms, shoulders, chest and back to work bike to either side. No push ups on the bike – only pushing and holding the bike side to side – truly strengthening and helping sculpt your core.

How to prepare

***Core does not rent spin shoes*** Please wear firmly soled shoes OR if you have spin shoes with SPD clips - please bring those. Towels are provided. Filtered water is available on site for refillable bottles. Water is available for purchase as well ($2). ***Clothing*** It is recommended to wear knee length or longer pants - the side-to-side nature of the bikes creates friction and you'll feel better with your inner thigh covered. Showers are available (bring your own towel!) and lockers too. Free wifi is all available.

How to get there

Core is in The Brunswick Center on Brunswick Street (just past the light across form Delenio's). Enter on Brunswick and go up the stairs on the left to the top floor - it's the first studio on the right. PARKING IS AVAILABLE!!! But street parking is often easy in this area.

Great class! Instructor is very motivating and gives an awesome ride. The studio is remodeled and facilities available for use - showers, water fountain etc... try it out!

This class is Great! Heidi delivers an energetic, challenging, motivating class that pushes you fully for the 45mins. The bikes are different to normal Spin and give a great workout and unique spin experience.... stick with it and you’ll be loving it! The studio is clean, modern and well equipped and amenities available in the building. I can’t recommend this class enough. Get Down and try it out! Boss tunes too!

Spin Redefined! They have unique Rush Ryder bikes that lean left and right which gives you a full workout. I don’t think I can enjoy a non-Rush-Ryder bike any more. While newly renovated, the studio is not as glamorous as some of the mainstream studios. But with great bikes, music and choreography there is never a dull moment in the class. Highly recommended!

What is ClassPass?
