Pilates is more than a physical exercise method. Pilates is a mind body exercise that requires awareness and concentration to perform the physical movement with precision and control. Mindful movement improves body awareness and re-educates neuromuscular pathways to correct faulty movement habits that can cause pain or injury and replace with efficient movement patterns that will provide you with an inner strength that shines from the inside out. How to prepare
Please wear comfortable active wear, not too baggy, the Instructors at Connect Pilates want to be able to see you are performing the exercises with the best alignment. For hygiene reasons please wear socks, grip socks preferred for reformer classes. You may also like to bring a water bottle it is important to stay hydrated before, during and after your Pilates Class. Please leave valuables at home, they have cubby holes for your belongings to be kept.
