Centered Body Yoga on the Reformer L3 with Amira
I do a lot of Pilates and yoga, so it was interesting to blend the two in this class. I found that the reformer helped refine my sense of balance in each of the poses. Would welcome a bit more physicality in the flow next time!

I didn’t realize this was a beginner-level class, but I really appreciated the slower pace and careful, thoughtful exercises tonight. I still found a lot of value in them, even as an advanced student, and very much enjoyed Angeles’ teaching style (as well as her advice on teacher training!).

This class is great for beginners and any advanced folks that want to get re-introduced to the basic/fundamentals. Theres enough instruction from Dan and he really focuses on form which is great!

Fabulous class! The instructor was encouraging and very attentive. She helped everyone at their own levels (only three students in the class today!) and really helped correct my form.

Roxann was very attentive and gave lots of good corrections. Usually I find classes here to be on the easier side, but this one was more challenging. Cueing could have been better, but I will definitely take Roxanns class again.

Really enjoyed Dans teaching style! This class was a little less advanced than I would prefer, but it was still a good hour and a nice way to ease into the week.

Amazing teacher for our first pilates reformer class. Super encouraging, helpful and goes at a pace that you're comfortable with and shows the moves in a way that you can learn quickly! I definitely recommend Dan for your first time! Very interesting to learn how to use the very intimidating equipment. Looking to do more of these! :)

Amira is phenomenal. Her class is about strengthening on a much deeper level than any other class or exercise Ive experienced. It may not be the burnout boot camp style that so many people feel they have to have, but it makes you stronger in areas you didnt even realize you could actually build muscle. Over the months that Ive attended her class, my body has transformed and lengthened! I look forward to my classes with her. She also takes the time to find out what each individual wants to focus on and incorporates it into the class. Because of the small class sizes, theres also a lot of hands on adjusting to make sure were in proper form and working the correct muscle groups. I participate in more intense workouts at various places in the city, but Amira at Centered Body is a regular must. Its because of her class that I know Im in proper form at other places that dont have as much hands on involvement. Take her class and take it as often as you can!

Quality class, but today the cueing seemed a bit disjointed and I thought we could have used some more specific instructions on some of the exercises. (Im an experienced student, too.)

Good level of challenge for intermediate to advanced students. Excellent instructor, too; shes leaving the studio this week and Ill be very sorry to see her go!
