About this studio

Capoeira Besouro invites you to explore the Afro-Brazilian martial art of capoeira. Developed as a form of self-defense by the slaves in Brazil during the 17th century, capoeira is an art which combines self-defense, dance and music. Through the practice of capoeira, students increase their flexibility, coordination, strength, balance and self-confidence.

Definitely wasn't a beginner class.

The only beginner in there was me. The instruction was fast but specific and he walked around to make sure you were getting it. Be prepared to work, Capoeria is full body and you can only practice practice practice to get the moves

SO SO SO FUN. The instructor is amazingly attentive at teaching and the rest of the class was so supportive. I would definitely recommend it. Probably need to go often to get good at it.
