About this studio
Body in Common is a Fitness, Wellness, Reformer Pilates, and Physiotherapy studio that draws its roots from the highest quality Australian training. They run both clinical classes and fitness classes. Fitness classes are for people with that would like to increase their strength, flexibility, and overall fitness, as well as meet new people. The clinical side is focused on working with clients who have specific issues, such as pain, and injuries. One size doesn't fit all, and they work with you to make sure you have a great experience. Both their fitness streams focus on using the scientific Pilates methodology, as taught by the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute. How to prepare
Socks are compulsory - no bare feet. Grippy Socks are preferred. Think Form-Fitting, Not Baggy: Choose workout clothing that's stretchy and won't get in the way. If you are new, please arrive 10 minutes early and sign the waiver at the reception desk. If you arrive late, you'll still need to sign the waiver first. Body in Common has water and tea available. Bring a water bottle if you want to drink during class. There are two showers at the Studio. Please bring your own towel if you want to have a shower.
How to get there
Body in Common is located in the Telawi area of Bangsar, above Bubblegum Wax. Look out for the large black sign that says "Pilates". 54-2 Jalan Maarof, Bangsar Baru 59100 Street Parking is easy for early morning classes at RM1/hr (or free for the very early classes). Later in the day it is easier to park in the car park below the old Pasar Malam - entry on Jalan Telawi 1. RM1.50/hr. You can also Park under BV2 and BV1. You can arrive early if you like. There is a sofa and tea.
