About this studio
At Blissitude Yoga, Therapeutic Spinal Release Yoga is taught by Nancy Nurmi. This is a unique, compassionate style of yoga that utilizes precise alignments, props-soft blankets and gentle adjustments (if needed) designed to lead you gently into a new relationship with your body and your mind from the inside out. It uses the principal of Core release or spinal decompression to unravel deep-seated layers of tension, to help restore and rejuvenate both your body and mind. It not only creates physical changes like strength, energy and flexibility but also helps you heal, transform, reduce stress, find more peace and calm in both your body and mind. How to prepare
Wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing such as yoga or sweat pants. Dress in layers as studio temperatures vary. Please remove your shoes and leave them by the door. You may wear socks and be aware that you may be asked to remove your socks for specific poses to ensure that you are safe and will not slip or slide. No need to bring yoga mats as all props are provided for you. Please notify the teacher of any medical issues or injuries. If you have had an organ transplant you may not do this yoga. Sorry for any inconvenience.
How to get there
Blissitude Yoga teaches classes at Alphabiotics located at 5959 Royal Lane Suite #634-206, Dallas, TX 75230. Located in the same building as the Papa John's pizza but on the second floor. Go thru the glass doors and take the stairs or elevator to the second floor. Walk all the way to the back of the hall. At the reception desk turn left and go down that hall to the door at the end of the hall.
