About this studio
Bay Area Yoga and Fitness has group fitness + yoga sessions lead by Brett. Brett is passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and helping others find their happiness through healthy living. Each session includes a heart pumping circuit designed to work your muscles + get your heart rate up. They include compound exercises to work multiple muscle groups at once so you get the most amount of benefit in the least amount of time. The recovery is just as important as the work so they end with a yoga-style cool down with a focus on restorative poses for the muscles previously worked. You will leave feeling refreshed and de-stressed! All levels encouraged to join! Please bring a yoga mat and water. Blankets optional. How to prepare
Always bring water and please wear comfortable yoga or exercise clothes. Wearing slightly form-fitting clothing is advised so that the instructor may provide alignment cues and corrections. Please bring your yoga mat. Layers or blankets are advised for the yoga cool down. Mats will not be provided, but you are encouraged to practice on the grass to get more in touch with nature :)

The Bay Area Yoga and Fitness classes are held at Lake Merritt in Oakland, CA. The meeting point is at the intersection of Lakeshore and Cleveland Cascade on the grass.
