About this studio

Barry’s is an hour-long cardio and strength-building workout designed to help your body burn up to 1,000 calories thanks to their carefully crafted program that is as effective as it is fun. Their clients spend 25-30 minutes running on the treadmill and 25-30 minutes doing strength training, broken into rounds.

How to prepare

Please note that Barry's sometimes has to change their instructors. In order to remain updated, please make sure you subscribe to the Barry's newsletter in your Barry's Bootcamp account. If this is your first time taking a class at Barry's Bootcamp, you now have an account with their website! If you want access your account, go to www.barrysbootcamp.com, click on "Sign In" then "Forgot your password?" A password reset email will be sent to the email address you used to reserve!

How to get there

You must be physically present 5 minutes prior to the start of class or your spot will be given away to waitlisted clients and you will be charged for the class.

The instructor was in the most hidden part of the studio giving instructions for exercises. It looked like she had “regulars” she wanted to cater to, not shocking since the studio is in TriBeCa. When I asked an instructor to repeat an exercise she would point to a “regular” without responding, not a great feeling as a student. No corrections on form, didn’t ask about injuries before class - only plus was the motivational jargon. Won’t be back to this studio.

Class was expected, but the locker room is tiny, and not nice or comfortable. Fine if you’re going home afterwards, but I wouldn’t work out here before work or any other appointments.

What is ClassPass?

The number of classes you can take and the number of times you can visit a studio per month depends on which plan you're on. With hundreds of studios in our ever-growing network, you're bound to always find a new class to enjoy. When your cycle renews, you can go back and revisit those favorites yet again!
