About this studio

Barry’s is an hour-long cardio and strength-building workout designed to help your body burn up to 1,000 calories thanks to their carefully crafted program that is as effective as it is fun. Their clients spend 25-30 minutes running on the treadmill and 25-30 minutes doing strength training, broken into rounds.

How to prepare

Please arrive at least 5 minutes before class. If you arrive with 3 minutes or less to class time, your reservation will be given to a stand by student. You will be randomly assigned a spot on the treadmill or the floor, however reservations booked on the treadmill may be moved to the floor at the studio's discretion. Thank you for your understanding. Please bring a water bottle or you can purchase one for $2.

How to get there

You will receive a confirmation email from Barry's, letting you know of your spot. Although this email will come from Barry's, it is still a ClassPass reservation, and you may not change your assigned spot. Please contact classpass.com/contact if you have any questions. If you do not show up at least 3 mins prior to class, you may run the risk of losing your spot to those on the waitlist and may be marked as a No Show. Barry's will do their best to accommodate, even if it means assigning you to a Double Floor.

As a complete newbie, I felt very lost. It was pretty hard to hear the instructor as well, so that didn't help. Overall, it was a great workout to tone muscles and burn a lot of calories. I just didn't have a fantastic personal experience.

This has been the most confusing Barry's class I've been to:( Would recommend being clearer when instructing either the floor or the treads and having better transitions between sets.

The instructor and staff were very welcoming and helpful in guiding me through my first bootcamp session. Barrys Marina is suitable for all levels; the classes are intense, but the instructors are attentive, encouraging, & keen on fixing form. The facility is clean and spacious with a lot of amenities (juice bar, towels, etc.). Overall, I had an enjoyable first experience @ Barrys Marina & would most likely return.

Im indifferent on Barrys to be honest. Theres no real focus on form and a lot of people are going quickly through the movements without focus or direction on form. That can be a dangerous workout! I think instructors should really make sure form is correct across the class and emphasize that a bit more

What is ClassPass?
