    EXCEED: Masters

Holy hell! This class was beyond phenomenal- hands down the best I've ever taken at exceed in the 3 years that I've been coming here. James wastes zero time of the 50 mins and keeps you challenged from the very first minute. He's partial to shoulder work + push-ups, so just something to for aware of.

Alessandra was great and so, so welcoming. I've done other prenatal classes that are hatha-based and I appreciated that this class incorporated more vinyasa and fun flows (which you usually don't get to do as much when you're pregnant!). The studio is lovely and very clean. Glad I got to try it with class pass since the drop-in class price is pretty high.

    Hot Vinyasa Basics

Dana put together really great sequences for gently opening up the body and stimulating circulation. Really appreciated her encouraging energy and inspiring words at the beginning of class. Also loved that the studio has lots of windows that let in great natural light and found the scent of eucalyptus in the air refreshing. Front desk could’ve been warmer and more welcoming, but I guess even yogis need a day off from letting their inner light of love shine.

    Warm Vinyasa II

This was a great, challenging class. Like all classes I've taken at the studio, there was lots of personalized, hands-on instruction. Overall, he students seemed to have a very high skill level, which may be a bit intimidating for some. I've been practicing yoga regularly but for less than a year (and most of that was prenatal), and I found it slightly over my head, but there were definitely a few others at my level or less experienced and Jai was supportive and able to provide guidance. This seems like the kind of class you could come to regularly and watch yourself grow over time .

Great workout with a balance of interesting combos and short sets of strengthening exercises. Over the 2.5 years that Ive been taking this class weekly, Ive gradually built a solid foundation of strength and balance thats lets me do the sets fluidly and really enjoying the whole session. Its one of the few classes Ive taken thats sustained that kind of progress, and in the end, I keep going back because nothing beats training with Joseph.

Three exercises at each station (we had 4 stations) repeated for five rounds with short breaks. It takes time to do all; the only thing is that some take longer to complete twelve or twenty times like say burpees, so would be better to time each exercise for nonstop reps rather than do given number of reps.
