Harlem Cycle is a cute little studio. There arent a ton of bikes, so no class will be too full. They claim its a full body work out, but Id say its only thighs and cardio. This was my first cycling class and it was great for beginners and returners alike, as you can really set your own pace (apparently Harlem Cycle is big on setting your own pace

I took my 1st Sports Barre class with Jacey yesterday. I didn't really know what to expect but happy I went. It was a tough but fun workout. Today I feel soreness everywhere. It was a total body workout with mix of cardio, dance and strength training. Mats and resistance bands were used. Expect to do lunges, planks, push ups and more. Jacey was very energetic and in excellent shape. She also came around to do corrections. Too cool to work out with a former Rockette. Very friendly and encouraging. Great music, nice staff. Very nice, clean and modern studio They provide towels and lockers. Tiny parking lot so if unable to park there, go to municipal lot and they will reimburse you.

Class was tough, but really great. I preferred this to Soul Cycle because you knew how much resistance to add instead of being told to turn the knob a certain number of times, and you were told where your RPMs should be. Cheryl was great throughout class, and she set me up on my bike and explained the class to me (my first time there), she also asked me how it was at the end of class. Definitely recommend!
