I was the only one in class today and Gretchen gave me a private! She did it with me, so I wouldn’t feel awkward, and she was a great great instructor. She gave really good corrections, and it was a hard but good, full body workout :) I definitely recommend

Entertaining instructor. First 30 mins were a good sweat flow, but second were spent working on poses and lower key. Definitely different from others in that we stopped in the middle to work on poses

    Strong(er)

I wasn’t sure what to expect since it’s a new class offered, but even though it was slower placed it was super challenging. Strength building and isolated small movements similar to some Barre or Pilates classes. No weights. Music was great, as always. Would definitely do this again!

    All Levels cYoga

Not the typical vinyasa flow style class I’m used to like at CP. Lots of stretching and then a series of challenging poses—with lots of hands on assists and super encouraging guidance. Perhaps because it was an open level class, the poses seemed totally independent without any connecting movement between them, but I didn’t really mind that. Expect to try (and do) things you didn’t know you could. Loved it

    Stretch + Restore Yoga

I often don't take the time to leave a written review, but I feel compelled after my experience at Bottom Line Yoga. first of all, the space is very nice--a little, well-designed yoga sanctuary, with good-quality mats and props. very clean, including the bathroom/locker room/shower area. nice touches such as adjustable lighting and amenities in the shower area (mouthwash, lotion etc) we're very welcome. However, the real reason I am taking the time to leave a review is that Amanda, the instructor for the course I took, offered one of the best classes I have ever been to, ever. She was welcoming and encouraging, expertly and compassionately managing a class of participants of apparently diverse experience and ability. She gave great variations without singling anyone out, but also was available for personal adjustments and suggestions. Thank you, Amanda! Note to other ClassPassers who may not be familiar with the building: arrive early to allow time to check in (with ID!) in the lobby

    Tango - All Level Class

This wasn’t at all what I was expecting, but it was great! Turns out, it’s the first hour of a weekly Sunday tango dance event that runs all evening. (Had I known, I’d have planned to stay and would have invited friends.) The instructor is outstanding and gave personalized instruction, rotating individually through the 3-4 of us there for lessons. Others began arriving (dressed up, btw), and I really enjoyed watching what I’d just been learning in practice. The venue is also really unique — large restaurant/ ball room. So, definitely not a typical ClassPass class, but I loved that this was an option! It’s in my neighborhood, and I wouldn’t have known to check it out. I will definitely go back.
