Amazing. There is something about Neens voice that is so calming and she explains each pose so well. This was my first time trying hot yoga and while it was tough, I definitely want to come back. Note to newbies: entrance is in the rear, unmarked door and not the one up front with the steps with cute sayings on them. A tad confusing but I quickly figured it out.

    YS - Yoga Sculpt

I loved the instructor and the playlist. This class is probably one of the most difficult classes Ive ever taken, but I loved it. Definitely the most bang for your buck. It includes ab/core work, glute work, obliques and lots of arms. I would recommend starting slow with less weight until after the cardio set. Room is also heated so be sure to bring towel and water. Great class!!

Annas detailed and thoughtful curing elevated this class. The sequence was pretty basic and not particularly physically challenging, but she is very good at drawing out the subtle things to focus on throughout practice. I really enjoy her teaching. If you are expecting a sweaty, workout kind of class, Id recommend perhaps one of Corepowers sculpt classes. But Anna is great for a more thoughtful practice

Good challenging workout The format was 5 stations with 2 exercises at each station, which you did 2x for 45sec each and then rotated. Repeat. Great class! First time. The lights are kept low, similar to a spin class. Exercises move quickly, but the instructor demos everything. This was definitely more cardio than strength (lots of 20 second intervals basically jumping around) but I liked it. Lots of different fitness levels for fellow classmates. People were going at their own pace. Not intimidating. They provide towels!

I love this studio! I have been going here for a few months now and Betsy’s classes are always great. They’re always very different so I never get bored. And although you need to know basic yoga terms (down dog, child’s pose, warrior 2) it’s very accessible for people like me who aren’t hardcore yoga people. I can’t sit in a studio for a 75 or 90 minute class so I love the quick 50 minute option. Can’t say enough about this studio!

Brian was amazing and so attentive to my being a first timer. Cant recommend him enough and the class was the arm burner I was hoping for. I wasnt sure if this would be too advanced but Id say if you have some basic TRX and kettlebell experience its totally fine, there was a good mix here. Loved how we alternated between each move. My only reservation was that there were some barefoot people with their feet on the TRX in the class before and nothing was wiped down between our classes. Theres no reason for bare feet in this place. But Ill be back wiping everything down beforehand

There was a little schedule snafu; there was no 6:45 class that I registered for, but they quickly accommodated me in a 6:30 class, gave me a tour, and made me feel at home. The class was a nice mix of flow, held poses, stretch, and breath. We repeated a smaller number of poses than most classes I take, but we held those poses longer and worked on control. The instructor was very easy to follow and was very supportive. The facility is great; I love that that they provide high quality mats and mat covers free of charge and mat spaces are numbered and assigned like in a cycling studio. There was a ton of room to change, store your things, shower, etc. I’m really pleased, and happy a studio opened where Sculpt DC used to be!

    sound bath (+bowls)

I thoroughly enjoyed this class and the place! First, the space is absolutely gorgeous. When you come in, the room is bathed in cool, changing lights and cool music was playing. The class is small and we laid down on beanbag beds for the 35 minute session. They provide blankets, pillows and eye covers so you can fully relax. I'm already a huge fan of singing bowls so I enjoyed every minute of it and will be back.

    Yoga Del Sol

My favorite yoga studio in DC so far. It felt more ... I don't know, West Coast style? than a lot of the ones I've been to here. Focus seems to be more firmly on yoga as a rejuvenating and centering mind/body practice rather than a pose competition or a 'regular' workout class. The studio was very clean, and at least at the lunchtime class there was plenty of room to really stretch out and take up some space. I went into class feeling incredibly sore (from other workouts!) and with a nagging migraine that I couldn't quite shake, came out feeling great!

    TRUE CYCLE

Best spin class I've ever taken. Instructor motivated the group while helping each individual improve. Gorgeous facility, great playlist, corrected my form, I burned 500+ calories and walked out smiling. Better than flywheel. The actual best!

    Hot Pilates

This was my first hot/Bikram style class and I thought the heat would really bother me but I really didn't mind it! I was also afraid it would be too challenging as a first-timer but I was able to keep up. Definitely got a great workout and sweat more than I have in any other class before. David's playlist of 90's/early 2000's music was also a fun addition

    Vinyasa Flow All Levels

Anya is great! Good vinyasa flow class- challenging but not too much so and options to amp it up, etc. would love a class where we get to play with some arm balances and inversions!
