    Great class! We started with a tabata-type warmup, then worked on the same move with the barbell, then did HIIT-type cardio and cooled down with some stretching. Caitlyn was really friendly, encouraging, and helpful for newcomers with form and using all the equipment and such. Although classpass said this class was an hour we finished after 45-50 minutes.

    A really effective and high energy HIIT workout. I really like this fitness studio! This was my first class with Eric, and he was my favorite instructor I’ve worked out with here so far.     I love club AJ! ;) I really appreciate how this class is never the same. I’ve been going to this class every week for almost two years and it’s always new and challenging.     Whomever said this is “weight training for introverts” was spot on. Colleen just wrote the superset circuit on the board and everyone just works independently and leaves when they’re done. There’s no further instruction/cheerleading. But the exercises were great, and it’s a killer class if you want to do some serious weight work without having to think up exercises.

Didn’t take off a star b/c that’s on me to flag down the instructor, but I didn’t feel like there was time. So if you’re coming off of an injury, I would not recommend this class (my injury was about 2.5 months ago). Other than that, this instructor was insanely good. There were a lot of new people and even one person who had never done yoga before, but Amy was super kind and clear and funny. I really enjoyed her teaching style and hope to take her class again. I'm glad I started with the basics class as the heated room was pretty challenging but I felt so good after (despite being soaked with sweat.
