Very welcoming studio and instructor. Class is fun and upbeat. Way more cardio intensive than traditional Barre. In fact it's really not a "barre" class I would say. We actually only did one set of thigh at the bar the whole class. Majority of class was in the center of the room and mat. unlike typical Barre, it also incorporates more athletic large movements like squats (soooo many squats!) and squat burpees (torture!) I love regular Barre clases but this was fun and different so will definitely be adding it to my regular mix!

This is my 10th or so class with Mayu. It went by super fast! I started taking her CPY1 class in July and it absolutely kicledy butt. I was dripping, no, raining sweat the first class and doubted if I could make it through within the first fifteen minutes (to be fair, the time slot I used to go to was right after a heated class and it was still sweltering by the time non-heated CPY1 came around!). I'm definitely ending 2019 stronger than I ever have been thanks to a combination of Mayu's CPY1 classes, pilates, and Barre3 in Georgetown. However, since the CPY1 class is always the same sequence, I can easily see my progress from then to now. Despite it being the same sequence, I'm still learning each class on how and where to improve and - I still sweat. Just less ? could not recommend more - Mayu gives excellent verbal cues and physical adjustments and guides with a calming, positive presence ??

    C1 - CorePower Yoga 1

Even though I was the only student in this class, Becca put in just as much care and attention as she would to any class size. I enjoyed the one-on-one time and Becca did a great job of balancing her roles of adjusting me as an instructor and doing the yoga routine herself so that I did not feel uncomfortable. She also noted my current practice and gave me instructions on how to further challenge myself, which I really appreciate.

    Slow Flow and Meditation

Excellent class- slow and long pose holds for great, deep stretches. Caroline has great cues and was overall very enjoyable as an instructor. This class was a good mix of deep stretches but working your muscles. You won’t sweat but you’ll leave feeling good.
