    Kristyn is so great! her playlists are amazing and her encouragement is spot-on. only complaint is their locker room area is so small and so many lockers don't work. I arrived on time for class and there was no locker available. if they could fix that and/or provide more storage/changing space, this studio would be perfect.

    I usually go to Monica’s class and love it, but tonight I felt like her resistance ranges and intervals were completely unrealistic. Seemed like others around me were also struggling to keep the beat for a lot of the class. I was pretty distracted by that the entire time.

    Hard but fun class! Instructor had a lot of energy. Cyclebar is one of those studios that do have arm work on the bike but I like how this instructor used the arm workout lightly and had more emphasis on legs, endurance, and athletics on the bike.

    Great class! Good energy for 7am and challenging choreography. One of the better instructors here. Would definitely take her class again. Studio note- The bikes are much better than before (but don’t be deceived, they’re just the standard Schwinns you see around town) but the towels are still threadbare.

    Great class! First time. The lights are kept low, similar to a spin class. Exercises move quickly, but the instructor demos everything. This was definitely more cardio than strength (lots of 20 second intervals basically jumping around) but I liked it. Lots of different fitness levels for fellow classmates. People were going at their own pace. Not intimidating. They provide towels!

    So glad I finally got around to taking a class here! All the staff were so warm and welcoming! I’ve taken so many classes at nearly every studio in the area and this is the first time I was able to do sprints out of the saddle without the bike feeling like it was going to fall apart. Plus Janelle had great music and unique, fun choreography. PLUS I love that each month they support a local nonprofit. Will definitely be back!

    This is a cute little studio with friendly staff. The spin classes have a much more intimate feel than many other studios given the small space, small number of bikes, and lack of darkness. I enjoyed this class, but I'm not sure I would call it a "sculpt" class. It seemed like a pretty standard spin class to me. This studio has one shower, but no towels, hairdryer, or basic toiletries, so make sure to bring that stuff with you if you want to shower after class.

    Loved my visit Balance Gym! The staff checked me in quickly and without hassle, and the gym had a nice mix of cardio and weight machines. They also have an indoor pool and a whirlpool. I was therThe locker room had all kinds of toiletries, hairdryers (and a sign saying flat irons and curling irons were available at the front desk), nice walk-in showers, towels, lockers with pin pad locks, etc. Note that the gym is inside the Fairmont Hotelyou enter the gym through their lobby, and you enter the Fairmont from their main entrance on 24th (not M) Street. Make a right once you walk in and take the staircase on your left.

    Started with Approx 40 minutes of TRX rounds (3 exercises each round/4 rounds) with cardio mixed in. Good mix of arms, legs, core. Stretch for the last 20 minutes, not yoga anymore like it was months ago, but still a good stretch I wish they brought in the chilled towels between the strength and stretch portions because by the end I’m already cooled down.     So good! Full body workout on the Megaformer machine which is more padded and comfortable than the [solidcore] version by far. Kathryn was particularly great at helping me through lass when I didn’t understand a movement and it’s specific mechanics. Great class!! Only small cubbies for your things in the studio though, so be warned.

    I really enjoyed this workout! I appreciated the studio offering a class for beginners that focused more on technique (still built up a sweat though)! Very kind and attentive staff. A few constructive comments: 1) offering parking suggestions or validation 2) offering somewhere to store belongings. Disclaimer: while this is good for all levels of experiences with rowing machines, I think its helpful to have an advanced beginner or intermediate level of fitness. The workout may be tough for someone that isnt working out regularly.

    This class was a lot of fun. I will definitely go again. Great music selection and a good vibe. The instructor was very nice and had great energy. I really appreciate that the moves were easy enough to pick up quickly, but could be turned up enough to get a great workout in. I was surprised how much my heart rate got up on what seemed like a simple dance move.
