    Love Yoga

Really lovely instructor. For people new to this studio, I will say that their classes are all pretty easy if you are used to regular vinyasa flow classes. I enjoy the slower more intentional pace, but it may not be the sweat-dripping yoga you're looking for. Also, they do a bunch of weird wrist flips in all of their classes. Again, it's an interesting variation, but might be annoying to some.

    Modo 45

I was worried i wouldn’t like a class without music but this was so enjoyable! The teacher was loud, easy to follow but challenging. I never felt uncomfortable or like I had to do anything. She made it clear that this class was ours to do with what we wanted. Wish I lived in LA so I could go to modo all the time.

    Rise & Shine

This was my first time at this studio for yoga. I love the vibe of the place: very low-key, very Venice (locals) and a nice contrast to some of the more competitive and flashy studios in the area. Lauren is the star instructor here for good reason. Not only is she gorgeous and possessed of a lovely voice, she is exactingly well trained and "the real thing." The class was nice and full but everyone had enough room and I detected zero "Get out of my spot!" attitude here. Space is modest but clean and well equipped. My one constructive criticism is that the studio was very moist and stuffy when we went in and during class. There was a venting system in the ceiling but it was not used between classes. Only a ceiling fan, which just moves the hot air around. I will absolutely return for another class. Nice!

    Deep Soul Vinyasa

The best flow and get your sweat on but also meditative without being too woowoo yoga class on the Westside. The great music doesn’t hurt. Nor does the awesome energy of the people who come to this class. Thanks Max!

    DISRUPTION: DANCE + MEDITATION

Erin has great energy, love her classes. This class has more of a mindfulness breathwork vibe, so don’t expect to get super sweaty. It’s a great way to move your body, with simple flowy stretches, followed by dancing/shaking to move the energy out, concluding with breathwork and a great savasana. Perfect for when you need to move your body and clear your mind but dont want an intense workout. You may not leave super sweaty, but you’ll leave feeling amazingly lighter!

Jasmine is to me one of the best teachers around. She is an expert of the body structure and muscles. This class is slow, precise with a lot of instruction. If you have an injury go try her. Very safe class, good for all levels. If you want a sweaty workout, not the class for you.

    Sweet Sweat

This class was so wonderful!!! Its kept a bit hot, so the sweat part is inevitable, but the class wasnt too intense, and more of just a wonderful upbeat flow. Russel played great music- a mix of Janet Jackson, some current music, and great yoga-sounding wind-down tunes. Ill definitely be back! This class was such a wonderful surprise and I cant wait for the next one!

Pretty intense breathing practice, but in all good ways possible. The teacher presence feels very safe and gentle, added to the beautiful energy and music of the plant. That was a deep experience. Thank you mystic journey to make me discover all this amazing practices. I feel blessed ????????

    Bikram Yoga 90

It was a great class! I haven't done bikram yoga in many many years and I'm not flexible or athletic at all! But I think the class really is for all levels and the instructor helped me adjust my postures. It was pretty overwhelming at times with that heat but I made sure to listen to my body and keep at my own pace and drank lots of water. Bring your mat, towels, and water. I forgot my towel and had to pay $3 for it. Plenty of parking and you enter from the back alley which was a bit hard to find as a first time client! Be prepared to sweat a lot and stay hydrated!!

Ashtanga Primary Series (Led) | Garden

This class was very personalized, Nancy gave adjustments tailored to each person. Ashtanga was new to me, and I was intrigued. Nancy had great energy and I was challenged in a good way! It was in the "Garden studio" which is small, but looks out on a cute garden courtyard.

What an amazing experience this is! If you let go of your expectations to work on a particular pose or wring every last muscular effort out of your yoga practice, you will love this practice. Brad's sonorous voice, the beautiful and ever-changing beach setting, and the thoughtful and open-hearted people who come each week (first-timers are as welcome as regulars) combine to create a total vacation for the mind and a gentle and satisfying practice for the body.

    Plant Music Breathwork

What a cool class! First of all the music being driven by plants was crazy. Hard to explain unless you were there. The best part of the class though was the instructor Joe. I’ve done a lot of breathwork and he’s got such a wonderful vibe and really knew how to connect with me. I walked out feeling like was in a much better and more authentic place. Looking forward to doing this again!

    Open Class - All Levels

I just love this class. This is different that your typical vinyasa class. While you might not be dripping with sweat, the poses are still challenging. The class is also much better balanced with meditation and pranayama. I always feel very peaceful at the end of class.
