    Megaformer 40MIN

This is my 5th class. It doesn't get easier. At least not for me. Every time I think I'm getting okay at an exercise Marisa adds a little variation that makes it even harder. This is what makes her class so great though. I still shake and take frequent breaks. She still comes around and corrects my form a bunch. Every time I go I wonder why I'm back there on the torture machine. But by the time I leave I am always really happy I went. I end up feeling sore in places I didn't know could be sore. Its definitely hard work, but so worth it.

Love these circuits so much! Suggestion: clack should allow 30 seconds for groups to meet and figure out which exercise each person should be on. There was some confusion and we had an extra person doing the wrong exercise so others were just standing around. 30 seconds is not long for each move so best not to waste time! A little prep goes a long way.

    Cycle - The Icon

Why is it always so dark at the beginning when you're trying to set up your bike? Especially with these new bikes which are different than any other spin studio I've been to. Why am I awkwardly fiddling around with spinny things and clips and levers in a room where I can barely make out the number of the bike? I also dont know if it's just me but the new shoes seem to clip onto the bike in a weird place. Both classes I've been to recently I got a major foot cramp halfway through class and they're weirdly tight around the ankle. I mean Eastwood is fine. It's always a decent workout but never my favorite place...

Stretch is a cute little studio nestled in China Town. The staff is incredibly friendly and the rooms are spacious. You walk up the stairs and it's like a little oasis of beautiful people. There is a lot of interesting design elements and it has a lot of potential. Leiah is a great instructor, she takes the time to slowly go through each and every move. However I wouldn't particularly say this is a class for beginners. I'm almost positive I did every move wrong but she was still very welcoming. I do wish the music had been a little louder.

Great class! My legs, core, even upper back & chest and arms were trembling (in a good way). One note: I wish the instructor was able to correct form before we got going (I can tell the class is structured so as not to allow extra time, so she kind of just keeps moving on and if she makes it to you, you find out you've been doing your whole right or left side wrong). Maybe newcomers could be shown some of the mechanics of the moves prior to class to get more out of it and a more balanced workout on both sides. Still giving these guys 5 stars because I always have an amazing workout and even when I skip my other workouts, coming here once a week has noticeable changed my physique!

Beautiful studio. Super new and really instagrammable, for lack of a better word. A little small but when you're there early and the classes aren't full there is enough places to sit and change your shoes etc. Their bathrooms are gorgeous. Front desk girl and the instructor were really friendly, and not in that pretentious way you get at some studios downtown. It's a very welcoming atmosphere and they seem to really care. The bikes are a little close to each other but you also don't do the push ups or weights on the bike that would require you to have space around. She did say the Saturday AM is mostly regulars but throughout the whole time she was really encouraging and hands on and offered variations when needed. Everyone in the class was really nice too. Amazing and relaxing class! Felt more like Hatha. Grant is a great teacher and his energy made for a very zen and soulful class. And everyone else was so nice at the studio and helped me out with an issue ! So thank you! I love this studio

Wow. I think that this is the best yoga studio in the city and not just because of the view! The teachers are amazing, the participants are beautiful. It’s a very lovely space and Yin is such a loving and refreshing practice.

A great oxygen instructor my favorite of all the locations so far if youre looking to know that you got an actual good workout and that you werent just sweating because of the heat. I actually felt my muscles working hard in this class, not much cardio but it was still fantastic.

Katherine is an excellent instructor! She describes the postures really well so you are doing them correctly while focusing on breath. The poses were easy enough for beginners while challenging enough for more experienced people. The room was full so come early. Also very hot!

This was a great class. Super relaxing and I got a good stretch in first time doing hot yoga and I felt totally at ease. Tara was super kind and helpful, correcting poses, and giving alternatives. Cant wait to come back

Awesome class, super challenging but lots of different movements. Full body workout, squats, bicep curls, lunges, etc. and instructor gave very clear instructions throughout. Loved it!

    The Build

This studio is unlike any other experience so arrive without preconceived notions. Expect to find a beautiful space, spacious amenities and other luxurious touches. Ariel was welcoming, warm and encouraging, making sure everyone got individual attention throughout class. The dim lighting combined with killer music further elevated the practice. I enjoyed how we were encouraged to not worry about what other people are doing. The exercise itself was equal parts calming and challenging. I look forward to my next class!

    TBS - Women&Weights -Beginner

Im pretty sure the go to meet up place is in front of the towel shelf for downstairs classes. Really small size but great class. Liana gets straight into the work out immediately. Make sure you stretch beforehand if you have a couple of minutes. The work out was set up as intervals of two exercises each for about 10-15 reps alternating three times and then you would switch to a new pair of exercises. Liana was really good about making sure you had good form while pushing you hard. She chooses your weight for you but she is good about listening to when you say its too hard, although wont let you cheat yourself out of a good workout. Great class overall.
