I’m new to pilates so been shopping around different studios in the city to find a pilates class that aligns with what I’m looking for. The classes here are small (we had 4 people) but its also intimately challenging. I loved the intentionality behind it and how given the small class; the instructor was able to correct my form. I also appreciated how she guided us through the breathing while doing the movements. I find this the hardest with the studios I’ve been to — they do the movements but never tell you when to breathe in and out. As a newbie, I’m always unsure and constantly do it backwards. So I really appreciated the constant reminders because that way I know I’m actually engaging my core and not just doing the movements. Will definitely be coming back to try their other classes! Bonus: love supporting women owned businesses!
