One of the best fully body workouts in NY. Spencer had great energy. a bit difficult to hear over the music, but all of the instructions are projected on the wall so it’s not a big deal.

This is the best class there. The other classes feel like to are just paying for a treadmill. This is mostly running but then a good about the if kettlebell however I do wish there was a bit more encouragement and push in class but that’s just the inner me wanting a boot camp type class .

Loved the instructor combo- motivating and I loved how great they were about making adjustments to form throughout the class. The "problem" with ClassPass is it ends up getting me HOOKED!! Now I have multiple packages with different studios and I want to add FR to that... ackkkk says my bank account!

    Signature FHIX

One of THE hardest TFR classes I've ever taken! I'm always one for longer circuits, so not having a true strength segment tonight was a fine trade off for this - 6 stations, 1:15 (!) each, 2x through. The 5 min HRPU/frogger ladder was a bit too easy (I finished it with more than 2 min remaining), but the ending 2 part, 7 min total FHIX was a total burn out with an AMRAP of 9 burpees, 15 goblet squats + 21 swings.

    EXCEED: The Workout

Will is an excellent addition to the Exceed team! Class was well-rounded, dynamic + challenging, with plenty of section variety (circuits, EMOMs, AMRAPs) that included movements which truly hit all of the muscle groups. We covered row, bike, ski, TRX - rows, chest press + bicep curls, push press, reverse lunges, swings, box jumps, burpees, racked squats, sumo DLHP, tri dips + core work. It’s been a while, but I finally left Exceed feeling fully worked out + not as though there were any missing components, like with many other instructors here.

This class was such a fun Halloween treat thanks to the party vibe of the studio staff and the instructor’s creative themed playlist! The Barry’s UWS crew really went all out and brought in the energy of the Halloween block party going on outside. Had a great time and got in a tough workout. So awesome!

Great class and workout, but you have to have some experience with these types of classes because there is no time for instructor to correct form or focus on anyone, since they are basically running two classes (floor/treadmill split). Would definitely recommend as long as some experience!! Also no locker rooms only restrooms.

She is very talented, enthusiastic, nice lesson plan. A killer playlist. But the class is not challenging if you are a guy. The gals in the class were younger than me and were challenged though. But athletic men can skip this one. Also space is too small, movement has to be contained.

    HIIT

One of my favorite classes on classpass. Love the format of this class: cardio and strength training. Class started with breathing and mobility stretch, then a cardio/strength AMRAP then 4 circuits (2 exercises at each). I like this class format over the ladder class format. Nate is great, very encouraging and makes great playlists #djnate. He is more of a motivational speaker than other TS coaches.

    Full Body 25

Chic, clean studio. Conscientious and friendly instructor. Workout was very efficient and surprisingly challenging. Great location and workout length for pairing with a run in the park. I ran to class, did the workout, and ran home for a perfect blend of cardio and strength training. Only thing Id suggest is curating a more fun/motivational playlist to support the intensity of the workout. I use music as a mental crutch and had a hard time maintaining my effort with the mellow songs that were on in the background.

    Total Body HILIIT

After six months of being sedentary, I’m so glad I decided to jump back into wellness with this amazing studio. The space is small so be mindful of that if you are on the toll side but other than that, the class was amazing. Low-key enough for a beginner but challenging enough for a seasoned athlete. The instructor, Kim put me at ease and let us make some modifications and go at our own pace while allowing more experienced students to take on more advanced repetitions. This is a full body workout so come prepared to do Burpee‘s, crunches, lunches, and weights!

Intense but short workout. Class is 45 minutes but it flys by. Todays class was 8 stations, each station was 20 seconds of work 10 seconds of rest, 7 times through. So youre only really working out 18 minutes...be prepared, no shoes are allowed for this workout and there is no water station to fill up your bottles

    H.I.I.T. the Deck!

I was the only person in the class for the day, and the instructor was great about correcting my form to make sure I was doing everything properly. It was a great workout and really hard. You will definitely get a great sweat! Each card suit was a different exercise - 2 lower body and 2 upper body. The number on the card was the number of reps. The instructor pulls 4 cards each round, one from each suit. I didn’t make it through the whole deck by myself but I got pretty far.
