Farouk always makes the workouts tough but fun. But he and Rich are dead serious about good forms to avoid injuries. All trainers at the Fhitting Room give detailed explanation and demonstration on all the exercises and having two trainers in each class they really walk around and correct forms. My fav studio.

Daury + Dennys are an incredible duo and this afternoons class fit the bill. The 2 4-minute pre fhixes includes renegade rows, push ups,TRX planks, swings + squat thrusts, adding to the 12 min circuit then a 4 min burped/hollow hold fhix. Great overall profile with a good combo of strength + cardio

Loved Ellas energy and all her smiling! Her classes are always well choreographed and so flawless. Really makes you sweat and work hard. Appreciate how she stays on the bike most of the time so you can watch her form and get motivated by her. Also her music choice is amazing. Its a different cool sound and find her songs tempo and lyrics very inspiring. Shes super sweet and let me take a pic of her song list and I cant wait to find those songs and listen to them! Thanks Ella! Also CYC UES is an awesome studio- clean and organized and great staff. Thanks Adam and Dylan and Jackie and Corey and everyone!

Love this class, but I have to comment on the locker room. Love that they have showers unlike their other locations and Malin and Goetz products. However, there have been a few times now where the products were empty in the showers and I had to wait naked, in a towel, in the coed locker room for them to refill. They also only have one hair dryer. For $20, it would be of significant value add to their clients. Final thing is I'd prefer if they gave out more than one towel. With a coed bathroom especially, where you need to dry off and change immediately after showering, one towel doesn't really do the trick.

Hurray for finally being in a class where the demoing before each circuit didn't slow us down! Skylar was descriptive, yet quick to show us the moves at each station & provided us with an awesomely exhausting workout including a huge range of exercises, involving med ball, box, KB, row, TRX. We hit all the muscle groups, killed the core & I walked out a sweaty mess!

Cameron is great - friendly and helpful with really clear tips and instructions. This was a tough full body workout and my butt was so sore after but in a good way! My only criticism with fly Barre classes overall is the music which can be a bit boring and unrecognizable. I'd love it if they incorporated more upbeat, popular songs like flywheel. Still really enjoyed the class.

    Total Body (60 Minutes)

Class kicked my tush tonight, clocking a solid 3.5 miles from the 2, 12 min tread sections + getting a killer pump from the floor work. Only issue is that there weren’t enough 15lb weights for those of us who started on the thread bc the 1st floor group kept full sets under their bench for the transition, so I was forced to lift with 20’s. However, lots of diversity of movements covered - bi curls into squat thrusts, tri pushups + overheads, jump squats, reverse lunges with side bend, one legged deadlifts, one armed chest press with one leg extension, bent over wide + reg rows, renegades, burpees, swings, weighted knee to elbow standing crunch, bear crawls. A tad too core focused during the 2nd section (time that should’ve been spent on lower body IMO) but Mike always provides a challenging class with impeccable directions.

Great class. I liked the instructors guidance and to do what your body allows and not to focus on others, judgement free. I used to be so nervous going to yoga when I first started for fear of sticking out as not knowing what I was doing, but she gives pretty clear direction. Love Elizabeth's classes - from thighs to arms, abs + glutes, she manages to burn every bit of the body and doesn't leave anything out or cut any corners. Transitions are seamless as well - for thighs we went from upright small V into waterski, then high heeled 5th into round back chair, ending in wide 2nd. Appreciate that she incorporated back work into arms which some instructors bypass. Awesome!

    Trooper Core Strength Camp

I have a love hate relationship with this class. Its crazy how hard this class is. There was a power section and strength section. The power section didnt feel like much but the strength section was insane. The exercises (TRX and pike ups with gliders) looked easy but to do them properly with full range of motion and in a controlled way is absolutely killer. Core is the hardest muscle group to work. If you pride yourself on lifting heavy or running fast, this will be a humbling experience because theres almost no weight and its very slow paced. Im going to incorporate this class into my training more even though I hate it. I kinda wish there was an easier version of this so that I could work up to it because I felt like I couldnt even stabilize in some of the exercises so I did very little reps. Maybe next time Ill get better.

Dana put together really great sequences for gently opening up the body and stimulating circulation. Really appreciated her encouraging energy and inspiring words at the beginning of class. Also loved that the studio has lots of windows that let in great natural light and found the scent of eucalyptus in the air refreshing. I ran to class, did the workout, and ran home for a perfect blend of cardio and strength training. Only thing Id suggest is curating a more fun/motivational playlist to support the intensity of the workout. Project: HIIT

Definitely a challenging cardio and strength workout! The staff is so friendly and Will was a great and motivating instructor. The small class really allows for instructor focus on individuals. Im glad I came and would come back again.

Wonderful class, wish I could wakeup each morning with this class.. hint, hint to the studio ;). Instructor was lovely as well. The only thing I would change is music that's morw relaxing, found it a little distracting in the first half of class but otherwise, loved this class, thanks!

    CKO Class

I haven't done kickboxing in a couple of years and the instructor was conscious in making sure I was keeping up and adjusted my technique. Good mix of bags and other workouts (e.g. planks, squats, etc.)

Wonderful class! Nikky was very attentive to students' abilities making this a great class not only for beginners but also for students with some experience. Helpful cues for exercises and to ensure correct. Great workout strengthening core muscles and also stretching and lengthening.

    Mixed Level Reformer Class

Amazing, as always. Anne Pae is the best. Not only is her knowledge of physiology truly expert, but on top of that, she really cares about her students and starts class by asking what they need. I feel kind of sheepish because I have no attention span for the incredibly focused classes at Pilates Reforming NY, which are the highest quality Ive found in the city, so I go and take intense bootcamp and HIIT and megaformer classes to feel competitive and hardcore. And then I inevitably limp back to Anne with injuries and muscle imbalances that she notices and addresses on the spot. I showed up to class today with knees that are so stiff and painful that even walking and bending has been uncomfortable, and Anne put together a series that stretched and strengthened all the muscles Ive been neglecting from my feet to my hips that connect and support the knees to save them from strain. And my knees are already so much better. To say Im grateful is an understatement. Anne is a hero!

    Level 1

Stephan was a great teacher! The class size was very full but he still paid individual attention to peoples (and my) form. Because Im such a beginner I always feel intimidated in classes but felt very welcome here.
