    Karim was super high energy ! The class is fast paced and you have to pay attention to the cues. I was able to modify the movements for myself. But the class is geared toward lifting weights while also doing compound movements. Not for beginners! I noticed some people did not have proper form while performing the movements which could lead to injury. The instructor isn’t able to do a lot of form adjustments bc of how fast paced the class is and he had to coach both the treadmills and the weight lifting at the same time. A screen providing visuals of the movements would help a lot so that coach could provide more form instruction. This class is structured in circuits so you do cardio for 6 min and weights for 6 min… similar to some of the orange theory style workouts that are rapid cycling. It was a leg and core class but I wish there was more core. But overall a great class- the time passed super fast! It was only maybe a 40-45 min class though.

    The positive energy at this gym is contagious. I attended a 5am lift class expecting a low turnout given the time - surprise - a decent sized group of women ready to sweat early in the morning. Daizsha’s leadership was appreciated! She kept the class lively and was attentive to assist individuals with form and posture. There are more events on the horizon - hikes, yoga, and fitness classes - I was encouraged to sign up for. It’s a very welcoming environment. Perfect for a beginner or intermediate - I felt so supported and encouraged. Definitely a safe space for women to get strong and build community. I am going to be going to this gym whenever I’m in the Vacaville area. Thanks Daizsha!!

    THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE CLASS I SIGNED UP. The frontdesk staff were very friendly though. They showed me where the class would be. However, no instructor or other people showed up even though I even see it on the wall that the class should start by now. I asked the frontdesk staff, but they didn't know why it was not happening. They let me use the gym so I worked out by myself for an hour and left. The gym itself had a lot of users and great variety of machines, even with sauna. I guess I was unlucky. Unsure if i'll book class there any more because I don't wanna experience the same thing again.

    So I’m over 40, out of shape, wear glasses, have maybe a crumb of natural rhythm. And I did the class. Did I nail it? Absolutely not. Did I sweat? Oh yeah. Did I flail my arms around and try to swing my hips and somehow come out looking like a dying fish flopping around on the floor? A hundred percent. But it was fun, everyone around me was laughing and shaking it, and at least four people were doing different things at any given time. Literally my only complaint was the last song was some modern remake of “Creep” by TLC which offended me on a level I wasn’t even aware I could be offended on. So go take the class, move, sweat, trip while trying to stretch, do the thing.
