    Really great class that packs a lot into 45 minutes! You move from treadmill to floor to rower, and then repeat. The first time through we did 5 minutes of intervals at each station, and then 10 minutes the second time through. The instructor was really fun and high energy and gave good form corrections. The studio was clean and had nice amenities. Definitely would take this class again!

    This was my first Barrys Bootcamp class and WOW it was amazing. I was very intimidated beforehand and didnt know if I could hang. The people who go to these classes are also very fit and snobby but everyone is so into themselves that they dont even look at you. Gui and the entire staff were very helpful. Gui explained everything beforehand and regularly checked in on the first-timers. The most difficult and rewarding workout EVER. Cant wait to go back and take Guis classes again and again.

Incredibly high energy, motivating, encouraging, and knows what to say to keep you moving even when you're not sure you can take more LOL. His workouts are really tough and I struggle to get through them, but he provides the right amount of encouragement and motivation.     Elizabeth is one of the best coaches on Classpass. MRUC is all about perceived effort rather than numbers, which I love. Elizabeth was great at giving cues and and encouragement. Like most people, I didnt think that paying to run on a treadmill would be valuable, but now Im sold. Whether youre looking to add some more cardio into your workout regime, training for a race, or just looking to let go of your day to day stresses, you can find that here. I get the same type of meditative benefits as I do with spin class but with the added bonus of getting a really intense workout. The music is amazing as well. The only suggestion I have is more empowering music and less techno (which personally doesnt do anything for me). It was my first class but Im coming back for sure. Thanks Elizabeth!

    Love this class. You’ll work core, upper and lower 3 times. The first round seems slow and like you’re not doing much, but don’t be fooled- the 2nd and 3rd rounds there are less pauses and you’ll definitely sweat and start to feel it. I usually take classes with lighter 3-5 lb weights, but definitely go for heavier weights in here since you’ll do lots of squats with them! Macie is great too and the class goes by so quick (even at 545am).

    That maybe one of the BEST classes I’ve ever taken at SOS! Do yourself a favor and make time for this class.     This was my very first climber-type class. My initial opinion is that these classes are like a weird, alien spin class. The studio is posh and well located. the instructor was energetic and helpful. but the workout itself is a really awkward for me. I'm a long time athlete, and so I'm very cautious of good form. Despite my caution, I felt a LOT of strain in my low back during this exercise. This also felt very quad-dominant, which I'm not a fan of. IDK, may be worth another try.

    Loved the treadmill portion! The variety of hills & speedwork made for a great running workout. I didn't love the floor work - felt kind of all over the place. Wicker Park studio is definitely the most intimate.. not much room to get ready before/after.
