    Elizabeth is one of the best coaches on Classpass. MRUC is all about perceived effort rather than numbers, which I love. Elizabeth was great at giving cues and and encouragement. Like most people, I didnt think that paying to run on a treadmill would be valuable, but now Im sold. Whether youre looking to add some more cardio into your workout regime, training for a race, or just looking to let go of your day to day stresses, you can find that here. I get the same type of meditative benefits as I do with spin class but with the added bonus of getting a really intense workout. The music is amazing as well. The only suggestion I have is more empowering music and less techno (which personally doesnt do anything for me). It was my first class but Im coming back for sure. Thanks Elizabeth!

    Great concept for a class, but time is often wasted because trainers dont demonstrate the moves quickly enough, or they demonstrate it while you are in the middle of another workout, forcing you to stop the current workout you are doing to watch. Dont like how the trainers dance around you/wish there was more guidance on weights and band resistance. Overall it was a good workout though and I left sweaty.

    Roberto is hilarious and will crack you up! Always love the burn class you will be sweating, out of breath, and the next day you will still feel the burn. We used the ugi ball a lot today which I like. It's soft. Lots of modifications. Again don't love when instructors video you for their social media without asking. Not everyone wants to be famous and some people like privacy.

    Butchered me. Charlie is one of the more firm instructors here, and will not hesitate to tell the entire class they are doing moves wrong. Recommend if you like this sort of instructing style. Did two rounds of each floor and tread today, with a short round tread first, then a longer one.

    No one’s better than Jay. End of story. He gets you sweating within the first few minutes + keeps those slow twitch muscles burning throughout class. Quick transitions, minimal downtime, no BS. I know ppl complain about his attitude, but I honestly find his comments hilarious + pretty damn entertaining. Definitely Don’t take him if you’re a newbie or want easy. He ain’t it!

    The best Barry's Instructor with creative profiles, great playlists, on point cueing + instruction and challenging formats. She somehow managed to keep us motivated + encouraged despite the air not working tonight as the mirrors completely fogged up.     New to this studio. Top floor is the hit / bounce studio. Bounce is a trampoline choreographed class with intermittent weights, pushup, abs section. It takes a little time to get used to bouncing but even if you don’t get every move ur still working out. My calves were burning I think if you are into step classes the concept is similar except on a trampoline.

    CHAISE Reinvention

    Seiji is one of the OG chaise instructors, so definitely come prepared to work in his class! Not for beginners or those without coordination or any body awareness. He's nonstop with plenty of reps covered through the various sequences (plié squats, static lunges, cat curls, butt blaster, arms, front lunges, side leg, teaser, seated abs, flying series, pikes) with speedy transitions, zero downtime + extreme attention to proper form, all done to a fire playlist. While this studio leaves a bit to be desired (the towels feel like sandpaper, there’s only 1 toilet, there aren’t mirrors along the front studio walls, the smaller room doesn’t have a door), there’s truly nothing like a Chaise class, for it blends aspects of Pilates, aerobics, barre + strength utilizing overhead bungees. As an athlete, I love incorporating these types of classes into my training for an active muscle recovery from lifting/ HIIT/CrossFit. I just wish that Chaise didn’t charge so many credits: 6-8 seems fair

    I go to a lot of classpass classes, and this was the best one I’ve been to in a while. The instructor is fantastic - really nice, encouraging, and gives personalized adjustments. It was a small class, so you get personalized attention to make sure you’re doing the moves correctly. You could clearly get in shape by doing this regularly. For ours, we did four different sets of three types of moves (repeated three times each) with a variety of cardio and strength training exercises, and abs in the middle of each set. It sounds like they change the moves each time though.

    For all the people who miss step classes! The class is hiit plus step. They use a small square step with heavy and light set of weights. Class is modifiable for all levels. Less steps, less heavy weights, teacher gave lots of modifiers for newbies. Non stop timed intervals with fun music. There seemed to be a lot of regulars from limelight / equinox days. Studio is new with padded floors and fun changing backlights. There is a gym in the front for private clients. Filtered fountain,shower,changing areas, combo locks with chargers inside.     Fun class! It was half strength training and half cardio (this music based movement, like aerobics). The heaviest weights they have are 10 lbs.
