Amazing! Incredibly challenging. I had to take a 5 minute break! A mixture of calisthenics, fast paced Pilates floor work, boot camp without the weightlifting “break.” Lots of plank jacks, burpees, flutter kicks, pushups and mountain climbers, with no real pauses. Possibly the most difficult class I’ve ever taken, just for the cardio alone. You won’t miss your spinning class. The only suggestion I could make would be to add an arm sequence, maybe with light weights...but I know that goes against the spirit of “no equipment.” So good!!

Merav gave a great class! It was a good mix of restorative work and Pilates strength training. I went in to class today super sore from kickboxing yesterday, feeling out muscularly out of sorts & as though I couldn’t stand up straight. Her clear instruction & expert sequencing brought me back life! I wouldn’t say she’s Classical Pilates but she’s not strictly contemporary either. Jimmy is great! He breaks down each step clearly and teaches at a good pace. This is definitely a great class for beginners as I had very little experience in salsa. By the end of the class I was able to pickup the fundamental moves of the dance. The class was quite small with only 3 other students but I didn’t mind as it felt more personal.
