Great instructor! Very peppy and energetic. Workout was pretty tough, or maybe I’m just out of shape (though I did see quite a few other people struggling halfway through and towards the end).

Great soundtrack and atmosphere. The instructor was very encouraging and upbeat. Clean studio, great amenities. However there wasn’t enough personal attention from the trainer compared to other boxing classes I’ve taken and the bags were a bit light.

    BOOT CAMP

Coach came as me about 5-6 mins late. Not good but no biggie. Class is nonstop. No breaks whatsoever. GREAT sweat. They do alot of outdoor laps. We dis 4 today so bring a long sleeve shirt to easily slip into. There’s alot of cardio and jump squats, which I prefer. First 1/2 is mainly cardio drills: high knees, planks, outside laps around the block, bear crawls. Second 1/2 is a circuit we do two tomes followed by an outside lap. No breaks at all. No slowing down. Challenging class. Good for overall toning and to blast cals. Not good if you’re a model or dancer looking to sculpt and not bulk up. We dud extended plans that can bulk up the shoulders as well as burpees & jump squats that can bulk up the legs. Literally your agent’s nightmare. I’d still def return but modify the moves as I did today to avoid jump squats/a ton of big thigh muscle work.

    Pilates Reformer & Chair

Was my first time using the reformer and chair. Instructor was helpful in explaining how to use the equipment and hands-on to demonstrate the proper movements. Workout itself was not too intensive, may try higher resistance next time.

    European Facial

This was my first facial here and I LOVED it. The ambience is wonderful and the staff are all really nice and accommodating. I had Emily and she was amazing. Super gentle with my face, but really good with the massage (they do your arms / chest / scalp). The extractions weren’t that short (as others say), and overall I can’t wait to come back.

I’ve taken this class a few times and I’m starting to really enjoy it more than I thought I would! Erika is a great instructor - her personality is so fun and effervescent and she leads a great class that is suitable for ALL levels. She gives more advanced participants the freedom to branch out and do their own variations while ensuring beginners have proper form and detailed instruction. Great class all around!

Deep Water Running - St. Bartholomew's Church

This instructor is 100% nuts. In honor of the upcoming marathon, this class was a nonstop “run” of the entire marathon route complete with guided visualizations of NYC landmarks and neighborhoods. RJ even sang a rousing, unexpectedly good rendition of “New York, New York”—10/10 on this, excellent performance. Deep water running is harder than one might expect, and this class is fun, so try it!

    The Yoga Experience

Class is small. Normally 3-5 people. Teacher is very helpful. It is more of a stretch class then yoga though. I really enjoy it. Also the locker room facilities are fantastic. Showers, sauna, steam rooms.

Cute concept, perky teacher. Totally depends on the other yogis. I had a good group, not much of a workout, but with every sip I was starting to get more tipsy and lost my balance.
