Wow that was phenomenal. Jennifer is great. Good at providing different options/modifications for different levels of yoga. I mainly use y7 to stretch out my muscles and "sweat that sh*t out" as they say, and her style of teaching did just that. Love Katrina so so much. High energy, positive and encouraging. Great music and fun moves. Will just say on an admin related note though: I feel like dance body shouldn’t charge extra for using the weighted dance bands that go on the arms. The studio should provide them free to people that feel like they want to be challenged more. Charging for them is the equivalent of somewhere like SoulCycle trying to charge more for someone that picks up a 5 lb weight instead of a 1 lb weight for arms.

    Community Class

Danbi was super welcoming as I came early and she showed me around. She talked to me about her journey and told me a few important things that would be happening before the class. Before the class started we went over a few key moves and things to know about the reformer. Class was DIFFICULT and I’ve done classes like Tone House and other intense HIIT classes. I loved challenging myself in a different way today and even though the music wasn’t my vibe the workout and Danbi definitely were. Even if you’re new to workout don’t feel bad about taking a pause when your muscle is about to cramp because it’s a community of people at different levels but I saw many people stopping at a point. Riley is amazing!! One of the best instructors I've experienced on ClassPass. She is genuine, energetic and has such a positive attitude. Throughout the class she was very attentive to everyone and walked around making various corrections. Several of these corrections were spinal corrections which were great. The class itself was more difficult than I expected but a fantastic workout. The heart rate monitors are a great touch and really helped me to push myself; I burned about 500 calories in class. I signed up for the 7:00 am class and only had 4 other people in the class with me. The facilities are a little dated but there are tons of lockers, showers and vanity stations. The showers even include a changing area which was great. I would dock a star because the facilities could use a face lift but Riley deserves a 5!

Great class. Focuses entirely on kettle work with no cardio (which was a nice mix up). You go barefoot and do 30 seconds of something, 30 seconds rest, sometimes one minute on then one minute off. Melissa was great. Super energetic and welcoming. This is classified as a rowing studio but the rowing technique is very different than a regular rowing class so set your expectations. In most rowing classes your legs power the exercise. In this workout legs are static for most of it and core/upper body powers the rowing action. I find it to be not as full of a cardio workout without the legs. But if you want a good core/your body focused cardio workout, you'll enjoy this studio.

    Boxing

This is a no-frills studio in a basement that is unlike other boxing gyms. There is no street signage for the studio so it was a bit hard to find. We started with a cardio intensive workout involving 5 rounds of stair running, then drills up and down the hallway before starting on the actual boxing. They provide wraps and gloves for free. Would highly recommend.

    30 min Stretch Session

Samantha was really nice and knowledgeable- she did some good stretches with me but not as many or as deep as with the other therapists I have had here.
