    GRIT

Positives: Great workout, alternating between cardio and working specific muscle groups. Dynasti was great, she demonstrated all the moves and her energy was great. Negatives: She could have turned the music down since you couldn't hear her sometimes. Room was cramped for the amount of people and I didn't see people wiping down mats between classes.

We believe workouts should be loud, sweaty and fun. Cycling classes should feel like a party on a bike. Hip Hop should be full of swagger. Getting stronger should mean getting gritty. REVOLUTIONS: a 45 mins…

    Ritual Hot Yoga*

Two things I love about Morgan: she always has the best music that matches to the moment during class and she always has the most inspirational stories!! These are apart from the obvious of having clear instructions and running a large class smoothly! (Also, about the good music, do you share your playlists anywhere? :)

Fast paced and tough!! One of the better Core40 workouts Ive gotten in a while! Might not be the best class for first timers since it moved very quickly, but if you know what youre doing this particular instructor is def for you!

    Intermediate Jazz

Jenni's choreography is fun to do and beautiful. This is an intermediate class as her instruction is fast-paced. Loved the opportunities she gave to dancers to work out spacing or try out the left side of the choreo with each other.

    Zumba

Jacqueline had great positive energy throughout the entire class. I came in for my first time feeling unmotivated, but she turned my attitude right around. Her dance moves were easy-to-follow and the music was fun and lively. Would highly recommend!

    Barre Bootcamp

As always, the instructor had great energy and provided clear direction with modifications as needed. Her playlist is awesome, but in my opinion, it was a little hard to hear her since the music was so loud. Overall, it was a challenging class I'd highly recommend.

Luke is a tough but kind instructor. He pays special attention to form and makes sure every student understands how to perform an exercise. I found the class challenging and fun, and I loved that there was a mix of both genders at a gym that women might traditionally shy away from.

    HIIT + TRX

Having completed nearly 500 classes on ClassPass, I can honestly say this was one of the most well instructed, motivating, and challenging classes I have taken. Carlos structured the class to accommodate all fitness levels and challenge multiple parts of the body at one time for a true full body workout. He was not only extremely knowledgeable, but conveyed a genuine care and passion for his profession and students. If you’re anywhere close to this studio his class is a must! If I could give it 100 stars I would; great job Carlos!

    Handstands (for Beginner & Intermediate)

Myles was out so Angela subbed in. Great class nonetheless. I love that we didn't spend the whole time jumping in and out of handstands. Instead, we learned about how to and practiced conditioning the different relevant muscle groups how to support our bodies in handstand, as well as different methods of learning and practicing handstands. Ended up being a great active recovery workout!

    Full Body Workout

Great workout! The class feels like a non-stop personal training session with an athletic trainer, yet you're in a class setting. Lots of squats, lunges, push-ups, crunches, utilization of kettle bells in ways I've never thought of using them, sliders... basically a bomb full body workout. I'm sore as I'm typing this.

    Pilates Mat

This gym is located next to the Tonga Room inside the hotel. The locker room is pretty nice, but the class space is a little awkward since when you walk down the stairs youre basically inside it. Denice was super nice and our class only had three students. We did mat Pilates using balls as props. I had not done Pilates in a long time and this class made me remember why I love it. Its fun and relaxing and all those small movements count. The hour flew by! The one big drawback was the music - it was Muzak type music of mostly pop hits, although they did throw in the Game or Thrones theme in there too. It was annoying enough that I even would have preferred no music, and Im big on music during workouts. It sounded like we were in an elevator for a whole hour. Music aside, great class and Ill be back!

Filipino Martial Arts ( Basic Class )

This is a great place to train for practical self defense! I walked in brand new and found everyone to be kind and supportive. The regulars are very fluid and well-practiced. I was taught simple drills and sent to practice both on my own and with skilled partners. There are many layers of complexity and technique that can be added to the simplest drills. I felt challenged at the easiest levels. I highly recommend this class and this dojo.
