    Exhale Barre

Thalia had great energy and kept the class moving. My buns and thighs were burning! She made a point to get new people's names and made adjustments despite the class being full. This exhale is really nice compared to NYC. Everything is really new. The locker rooms where the spa is downstairs are huge. Showers, natural body products, steamroom, lots of towel svc. Free tea down stairs by the yoga studio.

    Exhale Power Yoga

A great way to wake up, stretch, and still get the blood flowing. Instructor was very clear and helpful in terms of corrections on poses. Would go again in a heartbeat! Locker rooms some of the best in terms of being clean. Anything you'd likely need they provide, too, like razors, bathrobes, etc.

It never ceases to amaze me what a great workout you can get with just a few simple props. Ali was amazing! Her verbal cues were so on point and I loved the flow of class. This sounds ridiculous, but I was actually sad when class ended. New fav instructor!

    All Levels Yoga

South Boston Yoga is really amazing as far as yoga classes go. The teachers are the best in Mass and the level of the instruction and classes always seems a step above the rest. Jessica's class was more about stretch than building a sweat, which is definitely what I needed. She gave lots of hands on adjustments which I love. The only thing is the studio itself is grungy. Lots of really old props that just look like you don't want to touch them. Instruction 5 stars though.

I was prepped before I went into the class by the instructor that it was not a stretch yoga class, but it was more yoga than I expected. Good workout and a really motivating teacher.

Very relaxing. It's important to note that there was no flow in this class. For the whole hour, we laid on our mats in various supportive postures using props. Wonderful if you just want some time of stillness and meditation, but not for those who want to move, sweat, or stretch.

I love ESY and Paulina. Some of the reviews say instructors are unfriendly, I don't think that's true at all! There's definitely a close-knot community feel at this studio, but it's welcoming.

Anna subbed class today and was such fun!! There were only three of us so it was very personalize and she kept us all honest on really trying with each and every pose. There wasn't any hands on corrections, but I still got a lot out of class!

    Candlelit Yin Yoga

I’ve been practicing yoga for about 7 years but never tried yin. It was an amazing experience and compliments my other strength training, cardio and other yoga practice very well. Pam was amazing and made the practice very accessible to first-timers. As soon I left the studio I signed up for the next class on the following Sunday.

Hot AF, just the way I like it. Great studio and excellent heat. Kyla was a thorough instructor and delivered good Bikram dialogue. The locker rooms could use a facelift and they were not very clean. The new floors are nice, I hope they fix up the rest of the locker room. The towel and mat rentals are a bit pricey for out of towners dropping in. I’ll be back here!

Power 'n Flow - All Levels Yoga

I've always liked this studio, but it was my first time going to a class with LeeMarie. It was incredible--deep stretching and just the right amount of heat. LeeMarie's energy was so gentle, welcoming, and non-judgmental, with an emphasis on doing what's best for your own body. I've practiced all over the city and this was one of the very best yoga classes I've ever taken! Five stars, hands down.

    Endurance Pilates Reformer Classical Basics

Really fast paced and intense! Note that this class was only 45 minutes, not an hour. Maybe not the best for someone brand new to pilates, but a great workout! Class size is kept small (4 people) because good form is essential. Julie was lovely and welcoming.

    Postural Therapy

Very different from any other class I've taken (and I've taken many). This is not an exercise class; you won't work up a sweat. It's more like a mix between slow yoga and meditation, with an emphasis on correct alignment/posture. Marie is very sweet and keeps classes small (we had 6 total) so that she can be attentive to everyone. I'm not sure if I'll go back to this particular class because I prefer more high energy workouts, but I'm definitely going to try the studio's other classes!
