Rah was super helpful I’m terms of telling me about my form and running with me even though I was in last place. He’s nice and told me about other runs I should come to that they do. It was a tempo run with a warm up to and from the Williamsburg bridge. I was happy when it was over ????

    Switch Playground Class

This class was so fun! Great environment, Large room, cool lights, and fun music. There are 20 stations that you spend 2 minutes at each, alternating moves throughout-so you never get bored of the moves! There is a ski machine, erg, treadmill, bar bells, stair master, etc. You do have to go through stations with a partner though, so keep that in mind if you dont like that kinda thing.

Good workout! Not as intense as other physique classes Ive taken but still great. Theyve moved across the street from their previous location so everything is brand new and fancy. There arent any windows in the studio I was in, but I dont think thats a problem. Personally I prefer more mirror space which this place delivers on.

    BURNOUT (endurance)

We had Jane and Alec in class today which was such a treat! 2 instructors are great. And both of them were attentive to form and really encouraging. Alec always offers modifications too which is unexpected but an added bonus in a burnout class. My issue with this studio is that the people here seem to be more into taking pictures than actually working out. People were actively complaining about planking in this burnout class. Not cool. Totally took away from class.

Beautiful studio with showers / locker room with locks. They rent mats $3 $sweat towels $3 or $5 combo. Filtered water fountain. Nice products. They sell clothes / matts/ drinks. Everyone is super friendly. And their doggie is the sweetest. Style is hot vinyasa flow. Usually three-4 rounds of guided followed by freestyle. They give out cold essential oil towels at the end which is a treat. Very close to canal street stop and easily assessable. Will recommend and be back!

    BURNOUT (endurance)

I really love this nyp studio. It’s so gorg. I only take their burnout classes bc I don’t find them too challenging so I worry the aaa classes will be too easy for me. This class was really good just a little too short for me. We ended after like 47 minutes and I wish we could’ve done more leg movements like lunges. But this class has a great ab and plank focus which I love and is why I keep coming back. Just for this price I want a class that’s longer.

Always a good class. Compared to other boxing studios it’s more rounds of boxing moves and less burpees/squats etc. which I like. I can do my own squats and jumping jacks. Also the bishop is softer on your shin when you kick hard so it’s a better workout with no bruising!

Definitely need a little background in yoga as there are several "yogis choice secrions" which you might get lost in the sequence if you aren't familiar with it. Has a soul cycle studio feel. Community Class

Danbi was super welcoming as I came early and she showed me around. She talked to me about her journey and told me a few important things that would be happening before the class. Before the class started we went over a few key moves and things to know about the reformer. Class was DIFFICULT and I’ve done classes like Tone House and other intense HIIT classes. I loved challenging myself in a different way today and even though the music wasn’t my vibe the workout and Danbi definitely were. Even if you’re new to workout don’t feel bad about taking a pause when your muscle is about to cramp because it’s a community of people at different levels but I saw many people stopping at a point. Melissa was great. Super energetic and welcoming. This is classified as a rowing studio but the rowing technique is very different than a regular rowing class so set your expectations. In most rowing classes your legs power the exercise. In this workout legs are static for most of it and core/upper body powers the rowing action. I find it to be not as full of a cardio workout without the legs. But if you want a good core/your body focused cardio workout, you'll enjoy this studio.

    Absolute Beginner Gyrotonic class

I really like this class. The instructor is very helpful and works with everyone at different levels. The space is quite small but they make it work. I get a little distracted by side conversations among those just finishing up their sessions.

    Adult Beginner Ballet

More like advanced beginner because of everyone else in the class. Though challenging it was a really fun class and I would go back. Instructor was great at correcting form and made proper changes for a beginner like me.
