    RC : (F15MIN) LUNCH BEATS 45MIN

My first ever class and it certainly did not disappoint. Sick beats, and Tasha was amazing. I realised that the other reviews dont mention this, but shoes and towels are provided. There are only 4 showers, and required a bit of wait before its my turn. Would definitely come back again, but probably not during lunch break. Thanks for the great first experience!

    HIIT

The room was on FIRE!!!!????? Very warm due to weak air conditioning. Quite squeezy as well, with 10 people cramped into a small room and equipment scattered everywhere on the floor. But whatever the space lacks, Timothy made up for it with the routine. Really like the structured way of conducting HIIT, and his attention to correcting our form. During one of the rounds, we partnered up and tried a bit of calisthenics and it was quite fun. Really like the circuit round as well. Tim is suitably encouraging but can come across as quite dispassionate. Would be nice if he can lighten up once in a while but overall, really really good sweat (the hot room helps).

A class that gives you the deep stretch you might need to start of the day right Joyce voice was very soothing, instruction and demonstrations were said and shown clearly. She goes around correcting your poses and helps you to get the deeper stretch as well. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. :-) P/S: The mats are quite dusty due to the construction nearby, so if it bothers you, rmb to bring your own non-slip mat!

Class was great as usual. Thanks, Max. One thing to make a comment, hope that people have a common sense that they don’t place their own bags in front of room, where the instructor is. It was rather disturbing that I was forced to face sombody’s bag during the whole class. It could have been left either behind their own mat or at corner/side of the room. I did not come to see the display of handbag.

Jayne is a lovely instructor - firm, somewhat no-nonsense style yet gentle and generous with guiding the students into the correct postures. Her demonstrations of some slightly more complex poses (from a beginner's perspective) were clear, and she took pains to go step by step for the benefit of the newbies. It could be that the class was really small that day (only 4 attendees), but Jayne allocated personal attention to each one of us to ensure we were in the correct postures. Hot Tension Relief

I love this class, I've never met an instructor who was SO clear in her instructions. I'm still a beginner and without looking at her demonstrations, I can get into the pose easily. And the stretches are so good, the room is at the perfect temperature and has good air circulation too. Manduka mats were used too, I'm so impressed with this studio so far, even tho the place looks a little old. Definitely coming back for this class!

Maya gave variations which was very helpful!! She was also sharing on story origins of some yoga poses which helped to lighten the class mood. Didnt feel much pressure from her, very motivating and encouraging towards to students to building their own practice.

Princess is all kinds of amazing, motivating and just my yoga angel. If youre looking for a good workout that lets you sweat but is not gonna kill you that much, this is it. An energising workout that still manages to be somewhat revitalising and relaxing. A great start to my week!
