Sarah is awesome! She is so energizing and encouraging; I’ve been going to flywheel for months now and got my highest power score in her class today. That’s saying a lot, because I came to class super lethargic and low energy - thought it’d be a rough class but it was actually great!

Full Body - Lower Focus (50 Minutes)

Great, challenging workout as usual. I’ve been to other locations and a big pro of this location is the easy parking (garage nearby) and plethora of stores nearby if you want to kill two birds w one stone. However, I felt the people at the front desk were not very friendly or welcoming. They didn’t bother explaining where the lockers/changing rooms were, even after I let them know I was new to the location.

Loved the music and variety of exercises! This class was slightly more challenging than other Barre3 classes I have taken, which I loved! It wasn't just regular squats squats and more squats. I wish there were a few more modifications or help since I wasn't sure if I was doing 1 or 2 things correctly, and I would have liked a bit more explanation as to what the arm exercises were for, like which part of the arms since some of them were combinations. Otherwise amazing class!

    Megaformer

This is how devoted Andrea Ruelas is. Her flight was delayed yesterday so she got back at 1:30am. She taught a full day of cycle and megaformer classes on just 2 cups of coffee and didn't yawn once. Meanwhile, my boss yawns while I'm talking directly to him. Actually, sometimes I even yawn when I am talking. Also I considered not coming to class because it was 1000 degrees. But if Andrea can be around a bunch of stinky people all day after a delayed flight and still teach with a smile, the least I can do is show up to class. Probably should have brought Cheez-Its though.

Alene’s classes are the best! She gives great cues and detailed explanations to help you micro adjust and really feel where you should feel it. Her classes are slightly more challenging which I like. She is super sweet and attentive. Barre3 instructors are generally consistently good but Alene is amazing. This is why I actually can motivate myself to get up early to go to her morning class.

Not for beginners. Dina did a great job of leading the class into a strong Vinyasa flow. She offered verbal cues to ensure correct form, and she periodically checked on students’ forms. The class moves very quickly however, and most poses were described by their Sanskrit Asana names, so at least some previous Vinyasa practice is highly recommended.

    FREE Community Foundation Class

I really enjoyed this class. Samantha's energy was great and she was super encouraging. The whole class was welcoming and encouraging. You could really feel that you were stepping into a community, not just a "class". And being someone who was basically raised in a dance studio, I really appreciated that! You do need special sticky socks! (Which I noticed a few people wearing in the barre class I took last week as well) They sell them at the studio for $15/ea. The machine looks a lot more intimidating than it really is! Samantha did go over it with us before class briefly, but I didn't fully understand t until the class began and we were going through each move. Another trainer was working out in my midday class, which was actually super helpful because whenever I got unsure about my form I could look to her as an example (or say "help!" And Samantha came over and helped me adjust). I'd definitely recommend this class.

Earl is a great instructor. I love his laid back, relaxed style. He doesnt care to be the center of attention like some instructors with their constant handstands and complex balance asanas. He keeps it real and welcoming to all. I truly appreciate that. The only thing is the chanting. The Sanskrit chanting is fine, but extensive. Its usually reserved for religious Hindu events, not yoga. It would be like someone reciting Bible scripture in a yoga class. Anyway, overall a great class. But being Indian, I found the chanting too much. Great instructor overall. I would take his class again.

    NC30

Tried NC45 before this one, I don’t exercise very often so this class was perfect! I didn’t feel the need to push myself ridiculously hard and I got a great sweat out of it.

Justin is one of my fav yoga instructors to date! Steady paced and challenging flow with precise and detailed cues that help you perfect your form. You will feel all stretched out, challenged, and rejuvenated. Love the little massage at the end too!

Super welcoming and well-equipped gym! Staff and members were all very encouraging and happy to have a guest for this challenging session! A female coach led the class, not Xavier but both were attentive and enthusiastic. Great gym, community and workout!

    COR - Endurance

This is a great circuit training class focused on excellent form (many instructors are also physical therapists) in a welcoming community. This isn't a super aggressive HIIT class but a mix of cardio and strength that you can tone up and down based on your level. 2 showers with towels available in the gym and easy parking in this early AM class.

    Bikram

I ended up taking the 10am class as there’s no instructor for the 8am one. The instructor, Cynthia, was great. That was my first time doing Bikram yoga and it was very hard staying in the room - it was way too hot. So there were times I stopped and took a rest, or sat next to the door and kept it slightly open. Cynthia was not annoyed by that but just encouraged us to stay in the room. When I wanted to go out and get some water, she helped me with that (and the water was for free!) and kept me in the room. She was doing everything to make you benefit most from the class. I’ll definitely come back!

Katya is SO good! She does a lot of adjustments and gives detailed explanations. I have been practicing yoga for awhile but have really been doing a lot of the moves incorrectly. Thanks to her pointers, I will know what to watch out for in the future.
