Filipino Martial Arts ( Basic Class )

This is a great place to train for practical self defense! I walked in brand new and found everyone to be kind and supportive. The regulars are very fluid and well-practiced. I was taught simple drills and sent to practice both on my own and with skilled partners. There are many layers of complexity and technique that can be added to the simplest drills. I felt challenged at the easiest levels. I highly recommend this class and this dojo.

    Jiu-Jitsu

I wish I could give them more stars! I was completely new and Mateo and all of the students made me feel so welcome and patiently taught me some fundamentals and some cool moves. Practical and effective especially for someone who is petite as it uses physics to help you leverage your opponent’s weaknesses. Thanks!

    Beginning Aikido Class

Ken was so helpful and explained a lot of the background of the moves we were doing and how it relates to a kind of life philosophy that he's adapted from Aikido. The class is small, but the students and community are very welcoming and even took time to let me know that women (such as myself) are definitely welcome despite the lack of women during my particular class.
