The instructor was engaging, demonstrated the choreography very well and made class so much fun. Although he was a sub instructor, I hope he will become permanent as this is the best class I took at Studiomix.

Monday class is faster paced, but great if you want to experience a full class and see advanced technique! As an intro class, it was very well-rounded, exerting, and a good workout.

    Urbankicks Ass

I had a great workout! This was my second time doing this class, so I had a better handle on things. The class size is wonderful, plenty of room to move around and not worry about kicking anyone. I like how the intensity keeps up the entire time. I wasn’t too hot, either. One note is to remember to bring your ID to check into this gym. I’m an Urbankicks fan!

    Beginning Aikido Class

Ken was so helpful and explained a lot of the background of the moves we were doing and how it relates to a kind of life philosophy that he's adapted from Aikido. The class is small, but the students and community are very welcoming and even took time to let me know that women (such as myself) are definitely welcome despite the lack of women during my particular class.

    Beginner Kickboxing

Class is done barefoot in a spacious padded room. Bring your own wraps and gloves, or buy/rent a set from them. Lots of emphasis on correct form for the beginner class, which I really appreciated. We learned the six basic punches and a kick. Music was a little too loud at times to hear instructors.
