    Flow: All Levels

Different from the other yoga flow classes I've taken. Little slower pace, but definitely no less challenging. This class is the best class I've taken in terms of allowing for all levels of experience, but it doesn't push you as to go as quickly as I'd like. I will definitely be back though as I see this as a compliment to the other classes available.

    Rocket Vinyasa

Fantastic class with a awesome instructor. She was very attentive and gave clear instructions and alternative yoga pose options during class. Corrections were given verbally instead of hands on, just a heads up. I also liked the pace of the class which was just right ( some are too fast). The only negative and this is not at all about her, is the front reception. I have been to this yoga studio many times and the coldness and unfriendly nature of the folks up front gives me so much pause. The attitude they give to pretty much anyone new is bananas to me and god forbid you ever ask which room is earth/water/sky although none of them are labeled clearly.

This was the first class I really enjoyed at this studio. I appreciated the fast pace of Chelseah's class and worked up a good sweat (also the room is very warm.) My only critique is that it's hard to give adjustments when we're moving so fast so I wasn't always sure if my positions were right.

The facilities and studio are pretty amazing! This studio has many positives, but overall the spin class isnt my ideal format, so I probably wont be a regular. This format focuses on RPMs and zones, and this is not a rhythm based dance on your bike class. Pros: - amazing bikes! - clean/modern studio - great amenities (showers, changing rooms, water stations, great towels) - friendly and informative staff who focus on form and technique - techy interactive spin format (there are large screens in the front of the studio that display your zone) Cons: - One of the studios regulars is a man who aggressively grunts and growls throughout the entire class. The instructor encourages this behavior. I am certain this loud grunting and growling was bothering and disturbing most of the class. - the music choices were fine but not ideal for spin. We listened to Muse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the like. Overall, the music was not that motivating.

Mario was awesome. Loved the energy and the length of the running segment. I feel like previous classes cut the running short but we probably achieved 25-27 min of running! Great workout with good mix between running sprints and incline. Floor exercises aren't the hardest but I like the variety. You get killed on the repetition and heavy weights.

30 min spin, 30 min strengthening. The spin portion was a good workout however if you like biking to the beat of the music thats not what youre going to get. Vinyasa All Levels, Heated

Have never taken a bad class at this studio. Ive been to many studios in NYC and SF, and nothing quite compares to Yoga Tree Castro. Garrick is a great instructor who led the class in phases which was unique and enjoyable. Love this place!!

    Boxing Level 1

Mario’s classes always wear me out and challenge me on technique. Great way to improve form and get in some tough conditioning. Recommended!
