Awesome class and loved the clubby vibe. Would’ve appreciated some corrections though since me (and I felt some others) had no idea what we were doing on the boxing segment.

This studio, class and teacher are amazing! I knew Charlie from his Barry Bootcamp days and he has definitely growled even stronger as a teacher! The studio is very clean especially when you walk into the actual room. The treadmills are all touchscreen and are easy to adjust speed and incline. They are state of the art treadmills and will soon become hooked! Loved the organized individual platform that each client has. It already has various weight sizes underneath so you don’t have to waste time running to find your weights. Also towels are given out to wipe off your sweat. Charlie’s teaching pumps you up! He motivates you a walks around the room to make sure everyone can see what the exercise is. It’s also helpful that the studio has huge screens so you can see Charlie from there as well in case if he’s in a blind spot. His music selection is lit=the best!

Ive been wanting to try a class like this for a couple of years. It did not disappoint! Queenie was super nice and helped me with all my beginner issues. The hammocks are measured for each person and the class was good for beginners. I cant believe I went upside down on my first class! It hurt my arms and legs muscles some but my neck and back felt amazing. They are often in pain and I felt like this let them fall into alignment. I also loved just swinging on the hammock and being cocooned at the end. It felt like I was on a ship. I highly recommend the class, & have already recommended it to everyone I know. Ill be back! Fun!

I like the instructor but for the love of all that is holy, BodyRok, stop telling people to put all their weight in their heels and “wiggle your toes.” Your weight should be throughout the entire surface of the foot! And “back flat/belly button to spine” is both outdated and dangerous.

I had to take a break from CORE40 due to an injury and oh how I have missed you! Christian is one of the best CORE40 instructors. She’s attentive, friendly, supportive and provides clear instructions. She also gives positive reinforcement and technical tips which are key in a Foundations level class. IMO, newbie instructors should not be teaching the Foundations courses, so that clients learn proper technique.

A very no bulls*** workout which was pretty challenging. Definitely the least culty workout in the Marina but that’s also what made it charming. It felt like there was definitely a community there and the front desk staff was awesome and took the time to explain the nuances of the workout to my friends and I before and after class. My one qualm was that the instructor didn’t ask if there were any injuries and continued to correct against form issues that I had because of my injuries. Totally fine, but probably worth asking the class about this beforehand.

First time back at CORE40 in a while and first class with Raven! Looks like they fixed the ramps, which had me nervous because some instructors can abuse them and make the load unmanageable. So sad this was her last time teaching this class! I loved her style—she admits this is not a true “flow” class and I’m no yoga expert but it makes sense—you wouldn’t mix two different styles in the same class span, but there are elements of flow before the restorative part that doesn’t make it a complete restorative class either.
