It was my first time using a Pilates machine (I think it’s called a Reformer), and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor than Nicolina. She didn’t lead like a drill sergeant which tbh was what I was expecting. So I was very relieved when she turned out to be friendly and helpfu!! I appreciated most that she walked around to observe us and also adjusted our forms as needed.

see all reviewsI just had my first class woth Griselda today! This was probably the best cycling class I’ve taken so far. I think I say that with every cycling class and instructor I take at Bodyrok, but it’s true! My experience gets better EVERY. TIME. As soon as I walked in, Griselda was instantly at my side, talking to me, and I felt so special! LOL She didn’t even ask me what I needed she just KNEW, adjusted my shoes while having conversation without me even asking, fixed my seat and handlebar and it was THE MOST COMFORTABLE ride I’ve ever had like everything was perfect, the seat didn’t hurt like it usually does and it made performing the choreography super achievable, especially when keeping up with the RPMS. As soon as I looked around and found my seat, I could tell what kind of teacher Griselda was, everyone genuinely seemed so excited and comfortable to be there, and throughout class, she made sure that we were all aware of our fellow riders and that this wasn’t just an entirely individual experience, but rather, a collective and supportive experience that everyone relied on the other for, for support. She made everything so clear to follow and patiently guided us through the class but definitely knew when to push us to step out of our comfort zones. This was such an AMAZING environment to be in! Arriving 15 mins prior to my first lesson gave enough time for me to be initiated to the reformer experience. I had no idea what I was getting into, but all of the instructions, the pace of the class and the welcome from the experienced members was top-notch. If I can walk tomorrow I’ll start thinking about when I’ll be back for my next class.
