This studio, class and teacher are amazing! I knew Charlie from his Barry Bootcamp days and he has definitely growled even stronger as a teacher! The studio is very clean especially when you walk into the actual room. The treadmills are all touchscreen and are easy to adjust speed and incline. They are state of the art treadmills and will soon become hooked! Loved the organized individual platform that each client has. It already has various weight sizes underneath so you don’t have to waste time running to find your weights. Also towels are given out to wipe off your sweat. Charlie’s teaching pumps you up! He motivates you a walks around the room to make sure everyone can see what the exercise is. It’s also helpful that the studio has huge screens so you can see Charlie from there as well in case if he’s in a blind spot. His music selection is lit=the best!

    METHOD 45

This class is a bit easier than core40 ramped, but it does you as much good. This reformer is a bit simpler and less scary. Personally today, the leg/glute work was a lot harder than arms/abs. would prefer more core. Also jazon is very attentive to form.

Pretty solid class but wish ALL instructors would emphasize form more: when holding at the top of a movement, tell people not to lock their knees out. And if the weight is too heavy for people to perform the exercises correctly, then don’t goad us for being uncommitted, but encourage a modification or lower weight. Core40 should only be taken by people who already understand proper form and alignment, otherwise injuries are likely.

One of the best classes I've been to at Burn. The instructor realized I was new(er) when I was having trouble setting up my station before class. He helped me get set up and gave me general guidance on what to expect. He was also very clear throughout class and gave several hands-on or verbal adjustments that helped with my posture. Only note is for the studio - the mats were super slick like the cleaning solution was making the mats more slippery than normal. I'll wear grippy socks next time but hope this gets resolved!

Very thorough and well paced class. Lots of strength building and cardio opportunities. I burned a ton of calories, felt challenged without feeling afraid of injury or that I wouldn’t be able to keep up. Steve is a great teacher. He keeps the timing really tight and offers clear directions.
