This was a surprisingly fun class (theme: Soul Sunday) considering how different it was from most rhythmic or performance-based cycle classes in LA! Alexiss class is much more free-form and simple than your typical complex or choreographed rides, but it still kicked my butt while being fun. I never thought I would like to ride to soul music, but it was actually pretty awesome. Alexis is so positive that it affected the whole mood of the class and was impossible not to smile and have fun.

This is my third class so far at Set and Flow. I've found it to be a mixed bag depending on when you go and who the instructor is. Pia was fantastic and my favorite so far! She's really personable and relaxed whilst kicking your butt. If I had any complaints at all it would be maybe to have it just a few degrees warmer, but that's all I can think of.

My muscles had been feeling tight and tense the last week. This stretch was much needed. Bonus that the music was so calming I could’ve easily fallen asleep. I appreciate the 90-min length for this yin class too. It sounded lengthy at first, but the time flew by as we moved from pose to pose. Rob was encouraging and maintained good energy throughout the entire class. Would def go again

Great energy, great teacher, the only recommendation I would make is to slow down a bit with the flow. We are supposed to be following our breath with the movement and I take that very seriously, however when I feel rushed to stay on track with he entire group because youre already telling students to go into the next pose, it makes me feel like I have to rush as well so that Im not constantly 1-2 steps behind. I dont think we should all be in the exact same pose at the exact same time because we should all be going with OUR own breath. This is not just specific to this one instructor, I experience this often at other studios

Ben is my favorite! Great, creative sequencing, and he cares about his students! He remembers what’s going on in your life if you’ve chatted, and has valuable insight to share. He helps spot attempts at new inversions throughout the flow (not just at the inversion period at the end of class). And the best part- occasionally he’ll come around and gently help you “deepen” any given pose by having you resist a movement or sink further into something. Feels amazing!!

    Strong Flow

Challenging in a great way, fantastic flow and prep to lead into poses! Great energy from the instructor! My only recommendation would be to turn down the music or not play songs with a lot of noise towards the end of class when were starting to wind down.

    Vinyasa Flow 2-3 w/ Music

My favorite yoga class I’ve taken in a while. Great teacher. She actually did the moves with us and didn’t talk about random things incessantly or have an annoying personality like some other yogaworks teachers.

This class was so wonderful! It's in a heated room, about 85 degrees. I didn't know that going in, and I probably wouldn't have attended if i knew, but it was AMAZING. I'm so happy I went. Such a wonderful full-body, spiritual workout!! Thank you Sara!
