see all reviewsThe class was unconscionably full. You can not safely have 30+ people in a room of that size for a class like yoga sculpt. There was less than 3 inches of space between mats. There were 5 rows of 6 (at least). If you’re jumping, or stretching, or punching, or extending in any way, there is a high likelihood you will bump or hit someone. With a heated class, the temperature will raise several degrees higher than what they set it at - that seems dangerous too. I left before the class began because I was so uncomfortable with the ethics of how everyone was being crammed into the room. I’ve been coming to Veda for months and have enjoyed the classes, but after this most recent one…I don’t think I’ll be back again soon. The people who come here deserve a safe space to practice yoga & movement, and it seems that is not a priority here anymore.

see all reviewsVery relaxing and slow-paced. This was in their large downstairs studio, which can be quite cold so be sure to wear layers (this is not a workout class, so you won’t be sweating or moving much). Also, since they don’t have curtains or blinds, there are sometimes a lot of noise and light pollution from the parking lot and street (pedestrians walking by and talking, car headlights, bus announcements, etc.)

see all reviewsDani’s classes are the best! I have been doing yoga for many years but felt like my practice had really plateaued until I started taking Dani’s classes. She is a masterful teacher, striking the perfect balance between encouraging her students to try new things and offering the right type of support to get them there. For years I had been too scared to attempt handstands, but Dani somehow managed to teach them in a way that made me feel comfortable trying. A year ago I never would have expected to be excited for the part of class where we practice going upside down, but here I am, thanks to Dani 😀

Class was slightly fast paced but effective. Lots of free parking on the lot. Definitely will come back. :)
