Really great workout - Half boxing bags / half strength training. I wish they did mitt work in their group classes, but a good all around class to teach fundamentals. I also love how high tech their studio is compared to others.

Wasn’t the fault of the studio, but the girl on the bag to the right of me had zero self awareness in terms of how much space she was taking up - she was basically occupying both the space in front of my bag and hers. A couple times I had to move out of the way so she didn’t hit me in the head when she was punching threes. Would appreciate in these scenarios if the instructor could maybe say something.

    Kickboxing/Bootcamp

I was a little nervous to check this place out for the first time as some of the reviews said that if you weren't a regular it would be hard to keep up and that the instructor wasn't patient with newcomers. My instructor was Jonathan and he definitely helped me when I needed it. I do exercise on a regular basis but I rarely take kickboxing, but I do know about all the basics. So I was definitely able to keep up. There were lots of interval training, punching the bag, and core work on the floor, then small Cardio BUrsts. The parking is easy, you should definitely bring a towel and water as neither offered there. I had my wraps and gloves but they do have them there, but I believe you have to rent them. . But definitely a great hour of cardio and strength training and I would go back.

Tried giving the SM location a try a couple years back but really did not love it. I think it took a while to get it figured out. I was so pleasantly surprised taking this class with Tara. Definitely prefer the stage setup of the room way better cause you can actually see the instructor demoing. Such a fun class!!! Challenging in the best ways: Cardio throughout with the resistance engaging the core no matter what and incredible for balance conditioning. This class focuses on mobility, proper form, and repairing your body. It's not a HIIT class. It's about correcting all the well-meaning, but poorly executed exercises you do. Lukas did not let me continue unless my form was perfect. I have a anterior pelvic tilt and he put all his focus on making sure I was correcting it with every move. It's a physical therapy-ish workout that will make you feel amazing when you walk out the door.

Since we were all experienced boxers, we got right down to work tonight! Super hard and fun class.
